She signed and then swallowed and spoke while absently signing. “You can probably make things up with James with food. Works for me. “

Watching her hands sign, he looked at her inquisitively with a grin before she spoke. “I didn’t know you could sign. Impressive,” he told her. “I don’t want to make up with James though. He can rot if he thinks he’s getting a single grain of rice from me.”

“Don’t.” Parker’s eyes narrowed as he thought about it. “As much as I’m comfortable in my own skin, my recruiter will gut me if I show my face around ROTC naked cause I can’t wear any clothes.”

“Admit that I win the prank war then,” Kieran bargained. “And now I know if you don’t admit I win, I can just itching powder up your ROTC uniform.”

“Very true I suppose I brought it on myself,” he admitted. “Aw damn, I wish I spoke to you before I ordered because now I really want Mexican.”

Finley took a bite and sighed happily. He got comfortable in his spot and looked up at him. “If you ever feel lonely, come find me, mate. I’m always down for company, food, booze, whatever you want.” He continued to eat, so glad that now he had something in his stomach. “The name’s Finley, by the way. You can scream it across campus if you want. I’ll probably hear you.”

“I will certainly take you up on that offer,” Kieran said, smiling around his food. “Nice to meet ya Finley. I’m Kieran. I would scream it but I’m not sure what other people would think of me if I started screaming a man’s name at the top of my lungs.”

James chuckled. “I definitely had more than one fuck with him,” he retorted simply for amusement. “But you should… because if it’s not gonna work, you would’ve been better off doing exactly what I do. Being together, you’re actually gonna hurt him more than I ever did,” he said, suddenly serious as he stepped closer to Kieran.

“Hence the average part,” Kieran bit back. “I’m not going to hurt him. He’s nice. I have no reason to hurt him. In fact - I don’t have reason to hurt anyone other than you really. Because you’re a slimy asshole.” Kieran said, not moving from his spot.

Matthew bit his lower lip as Kieran let his lips linger against his neck, but then he had to quickly remind himself to focus. However, he did lean back against the other as Kier’s hands snaked around him. “No, not trying to get rid of you. Trying to study for finals.”

Kieran saw Matthew bite on his lower lip, grinning as he kissed his neck again, hard enough to leave a slight red mark this time. “Finals? They’re not for ages yet. You really gotta study so far in advance?”

Matthew smiled slightly at the other’s kiss but he forced himself to maintain focus on his note taking. After all, finals were swiftly approaching and he was trying to review and stay on top of things early as per usual. “It may be an hour or two, Kieran. Are you sure you don’t want breakfast or anything while I work?”

“I can do this for an hour or two,” Kieran said, kissing Matthew’s neck again slightly longer this time. “Nah, I’ll eat later. You’re not trying to get rid of me are you?” He asked, moving his hands around Matthew’s waist to rest on his stomach, playing with the material of his t-shirt.

“If you ever meet him, be my guest,” Phoebe smiled collecting their trash and walking it over to the bin. “Which of the guys in your fraternity would I marry? Preferably none of them. Who would you marry me off to?”

“Shall do,” he said as he got up from the bench, thanking Phoebe as she deposited their trash. “Hmm, good question. Again I think Parker would be a solid choice. Isaiah is alright too. And not that bad to share a room with.”

Matthew bit his lower lip as the other rest his head on him before quickly shaking his head. “No, I just started. I can’t take a break if I’ve barely gotten anything done, Kieran. That’s just called procrastination.”

“Alright then. You can carry on working and I’ll entertain myself,” Kieran said with a grin, reaching his hands around his boyfriend until they rested on either side of his waist. He planted a kiss on Matt’s neck, smirking as he did so. “Just tell me when you’ve done enough work to warrant a break. I’ll be right here.”

“Oh, no. He was wonderful up until the end when I found out some of the stuff he was saying about me,” she mumbled with a small sigh before once again looking slightly offended. “Or it would make the worst rom-com in history.”

“Stuff he was saying about you? Am I gonna have to beat this guy up?” He asked, pounding his fist into his other hand comically. “Well, we’ll just have to see. Which of the guys would you want to get married to?”

Matthew was nose deep into his chemistry textbook, quickly writing notes as he read along. However, when his door squeaked open, he thought his roommate had finally come home from the night before. But instead of seeing his roommate’s face, there was a nearly nude Kieran. “G… Good morning, Kier. Bored? You could help me study if you want.”

The blond nodded, throwing his messy hair everywhere before walking over to Matthew and standing directly behind him. “Whatcha studying? Looks complicated. You could probably use a break from it.” He said quickly, crouching down and resting his head on Matt’s shoulder.

The young woman gasped at the accusation and shoved him lightly before finishing off her water, “So mean, Mr. Rush. Accusing someone like me of killing my ex? Also, please no arranged marriage. I doubt I could survive that.”

He grinned and nudged her lightly back. “Well Ms. Solace, I have reason to believe it. He can’t have been that great if he’s your ex, and you seem the type to kill people who aren’t great. An arranged marriage with a frat guy sounds like a really good rom-com movie.”

Kieran was meaning to just go downstairs for a drink of water and come back up to his room. He really was. But seeing Matt’s door there, he couldn’t help but to walk over to it, bare feet padding against the floor before he opened the door, waltzing in Matt’s room in just his underwear with a wide grin at the redhead boy, hoping his roommate was nowhere near. “Good morning! I’m really bored Matt.”

“Don’t worry. My ex-boyfriend is still alive and kicking, so no man killing from me,” Phoebe responded before sticking her tongue out at him. “And a black widow? I’ll have you know I’ve never been married.”

“Hmm... I doubt that very much, Honeybunch,” he joked, sticking his own tongue out at her. “We can change that. I’ll set up an arranged marriage for you, that could be fun. A nice event to bring the frat and the sorority together.”

Willow smiled and started digging around. “Dumplings?” She glanced up with great big puppy dog eyes.

“Uhh... The smaller silver container I think,” he told her with a grin, pointing towards the bag. “Help yourself.”

Isaiah furrowed his brow and slid his hand along the counter as he walked around to the drawer that had the utensils and fumbled around till he found two forks and made his way back to Kieran’s voice. “You hungover? Why did you get duck?”

“I mean, I’m hungover but that’s not my reasoning. I’m just a mess when I order food and though hey, why not duck so here we are,” he said with a grin, grabbing a fork and grabbing a container of food. “You hungover or anything?”
