This model is a Grumman F-14 Tomcat, a famous US Navy carrier-based fighter recognizable by its variable-sweep wings. The overhead view shows serial number 201 on the upper wing surface, indicating a specific aircraft likely assigned to a fighter squadron. Designed for fleet defense, it was also famous for its role in the movie Top Gun and its capability to deploy the AIM-54 Phoenix missile.
