Kaz heard some people who watched Shadow and Bone haven't signed the petition for a season three or a Six of Crows spin-off.

In all seriousness, since the news of the cancelation of Shadow and Bone (after eight months of limbo) and the spin-off not being greenlit after it was commissioned hit a little over two weeks ago, the fandom has shown how determined they are to have Netflix reverse the decision or for them to find a new home elsewhere. The petition has gained more support in less time than any other show and we're so close to being able to launch a massive advertising campaign in LA, London, NY, and maybe beyond.

Please show your support by signing the petition and, if possible, donate what you can to the Kickstarter so we can show Netflix how determined we are to keep fighting for what we love.

I’m not sure where this ranks in popularity of opinion but: I don’t want characters to die to further impress upon the audience that death is sudden, tragic, and jarring. We know this. I didn’t need Fred Weasley to die to know that death doesn’t take feelings and justice into consideration. Many of us didn’t need instances of our hearts being ripped out to know the impulsivity of existence and all that comes with it, especially the negative.

We are now in an era where we’re, as a collective, so depressed that the confirmation of aliens existing has us shrugging and asking if they’ll beam down to help us pay our bills or give us healthcare.

So, no. I don’t want to read a book or watch a show because it’s true to how life is. We all know how life is. Give us impossible odds. Give us hope. Give us a damn break.

I actually like the current trajectory regarding touch when it comes to Kaz and Inej in the show vs the books. To be fair, I saw the show first before diving into the books, but a main reason comes to mind:

The image of Kaz picking Inej up and carrying her to the boat would not have as big of an impact emotionally if we had not seen those struggles from no touch in season 1 (what was described as a prequel for the SOC characters), tentative/armored touch in season 2, then him seeing her in distress and carrying her fully in his arms, struggling against the rising nausea, and fretting over her before realizing how deeply he truly feels.
