Calm and centered was how she would have described herself in that moment. Limbs stretched, core focused, and mind clear, Yejin held herself up, balancing her weight on her head. Her forearms remained steady, planted firmly against the yoga mat, and her legs slowly parted ways above her in the air, stopping midway when he spoke. She maintained her position for a moment before exhaling deeply and bringing her legs together, then dropping them carefully in front of herself. Her dark ponytail whipped against her back when she sat right side up and rose to her feet, wandering over to where Chase sat at the living room table. She peered over his shoulder with a curious smile brightening her features. The sight of his resume on the screen on his laptop caused her to scoff, resting her chin atop the shoulder she watched his screen from. “But you’ve applied for so many jobs already. Why would you need to reorganize your resume? Is that really the problem?”

chase had been very much in and out of concentration; completely focused one second, then flitting his gaze towards his silent visitor the next. her position was a sight that surprisingly soothed him-- witnessing such peace clearly visible throughout her entirety managed to bring a sense of ease over him, until he returned to gaze at his screen another time. and cue his request. 

how light she happened to be on her feet was something else he wasn’t expectant of, so with the light scoff brushing passed his ear, he flinched. his head turning quick to catch her image before somewhat cautiously releasing a heavy sigh as he slowly shook his head, then returned to the screen. the weight that suddenly took his shoulder was left to do as it pleased, paying close to no mind, in order to give it all to the task at his fingertips....well, almost all of it. “i’m just...tweaking it, that’s all. maybe if i add a bit more detail to my past positions-- i might get at least a call?”
