Do you ever find it strange that we know that Gon caught the Lord of the Lake to qualify for the Hunter Exam but we never find out what Kurapika, Killua, or Leorio (especially Leorio) did to qualify?

Oh yeah I never thought about that! …Wait… wasn’t the lord of the lake just Aunt Mito’s requirement before she would let Gon apply. Anyone can apply for the exam/qualify I think so the only thing we didn’t see the other characters do is apply?(I don’t really remember since I’ve only watched it once but I think that’s right?) 

I would love to see Leorio’s application though haha! It was probably a huge mess of him just begging the Hunter’s association to let him take it!

Personally I favor a pronunciation close to yours, like you'd say kilowatt without the T- Idk if it's a coincidence, but I always thought his name was a pun on kilowatt cause of his electricity powers

Ooh yeah that’s a better way to think about pronouncing it!! Wow I never noticed but yeah haha it would be amazing if they really did mean it to be a pun

i pronounce killua the same way as you do, but when i was watching the dub, they pronounced it the way the anon was talking about!!!
