well gee that sure was something wasnât it
Send â for my muse's opinion about yours.
friendly reminder that Iâm comfortable with MINOR godmodding if:
itâs genuinely in the interests of advancing plot (e.g. âPass the screwdriver?â and you can assume my muse passes the screwdriver over, or even just that your muse ended up with the screwdriver one way or another, without having to stop the reply altogether for my interjection)
itâs NOT my museâs dialogue, inner or outer
itâs REASONABLE for my muse (e.g. if theyâve already made it quite clear the screwdriver is a sentimentally precious family heirloom or something, then the screwdriver might not reasonably change hands)
the reply isnât solely about my museâs actions, thoughts or feelings, but rather is about your muse, with reference to mine
you are willing to accept criticism & critique and change the reply if I canât reasonably see my muse doing that
roleplaying, for me, is about exploring characters and worlds through story. Interaction with both the muse and the world, then, is vital, and I do not mind sacrificing a small thing from one to significantly advance the other. Itâs always a good idea to talk to me if youâre uncertain and it will be easier once we know each other better, but I just wanted to put this out there so you lot know what Iâm comfortable with. Thereâs a lot of âno godmodding whatsoever!!â going around in this community and obviously, with big things, itâs a no-go â but Iâm still more interested in the story.
Encouragement Starters
âYouâre a hell of a lot stronger than you think.â
âI know you can handle it, but please be careful.â
âItâs gonna be okay. I promise.â
âYou can cry. I wonât look.â
âCome here. Itâs okay to cry. Just let it out.â
âCome on, sit down. Tell me whatâs wrong. Weâll figure it out.â
âDonât worry. Itâs gonna be over soon, and weâll go home.â
âYouâre gonna do awesome. Youâve got this.â
âYouâre doing great. Keep going.â
âRelax. Youâre doing really well. Youâre almost done.â
âI know you get this a lot, but you really are beautiful.â
âThatâ looks really amazing on you.â
âWait, you made this? These are great.â
âGo on. Iâll be right behind you.â
âLead the way. Iâve got your back, no matter what.â
âAre you kidding? Youâre doing way better than you were!â
âIâm impressed. And thatâs not easy to do.â
âI know you can be really hard on yourselfâ but I believe in you.â
âStop fretting. Youâve been working your ass off. Youâre gonna knock this outta the park.â
âHow about this? When you succeedâ which I know you will, Iâll take you out for dinner to celebrate.â
âDonât worry. Theyâre gonna love you. Youâll see.â
âJust be patient. Itâs all gonna work out. I promise.â
âYou did the right thing. If anyone says otherwise, theyâre gonna have to deal with me.â
My muse had fallen unconcious in a deadly situation, yours has been kind enough to carry them to safety. Send me a â  for their reaction to waking up in your characterâs arms.
(kimi-no-mahoutsukai) (sideblogs stink i'm sorry) âYou need to either go to bed now, or you donât get to sleep.â
   âBut Noeeeeellll..!!â
âI want to stay up! But not all night!! How is that so hard to understand? Iâm a grown woman, you know! I can do what I want!â
âYou also seem like the type of woman who would be utterly miserable if you donât get a full eight hours of sleep.â He laughs, going along with her childish tone. âDonât complain to me tomorrow if your sleep is all thrown out of whack.â
side-sirius:
âHonestly, what is it with you idiots dragging me from my work so late at night? Iâm very busy, donât you know?!â
âWhy are you working so late at night instead of resting?â
livelyblades:
ââŚâ
It takes a moment for Ashe to fully process what was happening to him: once he did, his blood and entrails froze inside of his body.
Numbness quickly gave way to horror.
ââŚMonsterâŚNoâŚâ
No. Not again.
First Wilardo, now Noel?
How many of these abominations were going to stand in his way?
How many would have a human face?
And  how would he, a mere human, stand in the midst of so many living nightmares
ââŚLet GO!â
The reseacher couldnât help but let out a panicked shout, desperately stomping at Noelâs wrist in an attempt to get him to let go. He raised a shaky arm, attempting to aim Wilardoâs revolver at the fallen man: letting it slip through his sweaty palm in his frenzy. The gun made a noise that sounded thunderous to the researcher, sliding far away from his reach.
âShitâŚ! Let go, let go let go let go!â He muttered desperately, reaching for the hidden blades inside his sleeves. He shakily pointed one at Noel, in a pathetic facsimile of a threat. âIâŚIâll chop your hand off if I must!â
of course, Ashe was absolutely aware of how worthless a threat against someone who showed himself able to shrug off death would be: and yet, it was all he could do in the face of the situation.
He knew this act of defiance could very well be his last.
The shouting makes his ears ring, and he can feel himself getting tired as heâs attempting to stay awake, but the demon refuses to give up, he refuses to let Ashe win here. The cry of calling him a monster does sting, however. Even if heâs right.
His voice is exhausted, it takes so much energy to just keep a grip on the snake, talking takes so much more, âif... if I were a lesser person, Iâd kill you right now.â He means that both literally and figuratively -- he wouldnât want to face Rougeâs wrath from murdering someone, and he also doesnât want to stoop to Asheâs level of killing someone just because theyâre a pain in the ass.
âYou are going to stay in this room, Bradley,â he hisses, spitting the otherâs name out like it was poison. Blood is still dripping from his mouth, too. âIâll make damn sure of that.â
But how long can he actually keep this up?
livelyblades:
Ashe raised an eyebrow, a little offended at the otherâs question: wasnât the point of it clear? After what he had been observing from their days together and the trips he had taken to the manâs room, Noelâs presence felt like too much of a loose end to leave alone.
He opens his mouth to retort to the blondeâs words, but closes it, ultimately unwilling to give this unpredictable freak any closure. Exhaling softly, he allows his index finger to squeeze the trigger of Wialrdoâs gun, and stared blankly as his bullet lodged itself deep inside Noelâs chest.
He had expected to feel something, anything upon killing another human being: shame, regret, anger, sadness, or even joy.
All he felt was a hefty dose of numbness, and he sighed in disappointment before aiming at Noelâs downed head and pressing the trigger once more.
Ashe tilted his head, letting the weight of the revolver drag his arm down as he gazed down at the bloody mess sprawled on the floor.
ââŚDone.â
Now, all he needed to do was either wait for the noise to attract Claire to his location, or to leave and look for her himself. It was all so, so close.Â
And yet.Â
He took a step back, whole body feeling like it had suddenly doubled in weight.
âAshe--â He doesnât get to finish his train of thought, his words interrupted by the bullet lodging in his chest. Noel chokes on his own breath as he feels himself losing strength, gasping once more when heâs shot in the head, and he ends up collapsed on the floor in front of the door.
He canât let Ashe win here, he canât just give up... But he canât kill the man himself, much less in his current state. Heâs panicking, heâs not sure what to do, blood is filling his mouth but he doesnât have the energy to cough it out, he fears he might pass out, or worse, his death cycle might kick in, and he canât have that --
That snake is going to try to leave. No.
In a sudden moment of clarity, Noel reaches out and grabs at Asheâs ankle with a vice grip. Heâs glaring daggers up at the man, blood dripping down his forehead and mouth as he hisses. âYouâre not going anywhere, bastard...â He attempts to drag Ashe down, yanking at the manâs ankle with as much force he could muster.
Whats my relationship with my muse?
The PTA Mom:Â Ironically/unironically thinks their muse has done nothing wrong ever in their life uwu. (Especially if the muse has done something wrong)
The Cowboy: has to always keep wrangling their muse back from doing stupid shit. Catchphrase- â[name] I s2g if you do thisâ and âFUCKâ
The Cheerleader: âyouâre doing great sweetie!â supportive of whatever the muse does. Similar to the PTA Mom but actually deserves it, especially if the muse is a big ol cinnamon roll.
The Torturer: keeps putting their muse in the w o r s t situations. Seriously I think theyâve had enough. Pls.Â
The Mirror: mun is the muse and is either a) calling themselves out on their own shit or b) is a combination of the Mirror and the Torturer.Â
The Cinnamon Squared: both muse and mun are big ol floof cakes. Too sweet to handle. Mun never finds it hard for their muse to be nice because the mun themself is nice.
The Sheep in Wolfâs Clothing: Mun is sooo nice while the muse, well, theyâre kind of an asshole (but u didnât hear it from me)
The Wolf in Sheepâs Clothing:Â Mun is not necessarily mean. Just mean to their muse. Similar to The Torturer except the muse is more innocent. Definitely does not deserve whatâs coming to them.
The Jester: Puts muse in any situation thatâll most likely end up being the funniest.
The Passenger:Â Muse has a mind of their own and the Mun is really the one along for the ride. Similar to the cowboy but less freaked out about what the muse does.Â
The Champion: Their muse always comes out on top. I dunno how you do it. But it happens
The Deadly: Similar to the Torturer except Mun straight up kills their muse. Has revival abilities, though. Makes the Mun more powerful, but crazier.
Bonus: make one up and send it in!
lavender-tsundere:
He helped Noel into his room and damn near tossed him on his bed. âJust hush would you?â
Siriusâs expression was a tad softer as he folded his arms and glanced away from the blonde with a more melancholy expression.Â
He grit his teeth and his eyes narrowed, âTake bloody care of yourself because I might not always be around to do it!â
He winces a little when heâs practically thrown on the bed, but forces a smile up at Sirius regardless.Â
However, at the otherâs words his smile faded and he looked away from him, covering his open wound with one hand. â... Donât talk like that, Sirius.â I really donât want to lose you or Claire again...
livelyblades:
Ashe sighed deeply, before shrugging Noelâs statements away. He didnât quite expect the blonde to be as uncooperative as that, he guessed he might as well leave it as is. Again, the threat implied by Noelâs suspicious behavior was weighing far more in his mind than his own curiosity.
âFair enough, fair enough.â The researcher chuckled, tilting his head to the side. âIf the truth is so important youâre willing to die with it, then so be it. It doesnât matter to me anymore: I already know what I need.â
He gently placed his finger on the gunâs trigger, taking a second to steady his aim as he grinned up at Noel.
âBy the way, I got to Sirius a little too late, if you really want to know. All I did was wrestle this little souvenir out of Wilardo at the crime scene.â He laughed humorlessly, rolling his eyes in mock displeasure. âHard to take down, that Wilardo! Wouldnât stay put no matter what I did to him. I sincerely hope youâll be a little less hardy~!â
Heâs not going to point out that Ashe couldâve left him alone and he couldâve gone straight for Claire now that Sirius is dead and Wilardo apparently incapacitated. Even Noel isnât dumb enough to say that aloud.
âYou managed to take him down...?â Okay, now Noelâs a little scared. Wilardoâs incredibly stubborn and literally impossible to kill, how the hell did Ashe get the man to stop moving long enough to steal his gun? He silently moves backwards -- towards the door -- and tries to avoid doing anything that would make the other pull the trigger.
âWhatâs the point of all this, Ashe...?â He just wants to keep the man occupied. Sirius is dead. Wilardo might come back with a vengeance. But if he can just keep her alive for a little longer... thatâs all he needs. Noel has half a mind to pull out his own weapon but -- he canât bring himself to kill, not even to kill Ashe. Plus the whole breaking the rules thing, but really, heâs not fit for that kind of behavior... probably.Â
livelyblades:
âI have no need to explain what I am doing to you.â Ashe glared at the taller blonde.Â
Whether Noel was ignorant of the hunt for the Witchâs Heart or not, there were no reasons that made the researcher want to disclose his plans, at least not so early. The least actual information the others had on him, the better.
At any rate, there was something else Ashe needed from the blonde. He grinned, tilting his head to the side.
âI was looking for you, you know? At least in the first time I came in here during the daytime.â A lie, a blatant one at that, but one Ashe saw necessary in order to press Noel further. âAnd, how strange it was: no matter how I waited in here, you seemed to be nowhere in sight! Day after day, Iâve snuck inside this room; yet, Iâve never once seen you here.â
The fake smile on his lips quickly turned into a cold, displeased frown; the golden glare of his eyes seemingly piercing into Noelâs own. He aimed his pistol squarely at the otherâs chest, unskilled grip wavering a small bit.
âNow, if you have the courage to ask me what I was doing in this room⌠Let me ask, what were you doing outside of it?â
Noel keeps a stoic face despite the fact that heâs panicking on the inside. How many times has he done this?! Does Ashe obsessively check his room every time?!
He takes a deep breath, still keeping his hands up as he simply tilted his head at the snake, confusion plain on his face. âDo you truly think that Iâll answer your questions when you wonât answer my own? Just because Iâm held at gunpoint doesnât mean Iâll be compliant.â Heâs probably going to get shot at, but somehow he keeps his nerves calm. If he shoots me I kinda had it coming, really. Although, maybe being entirely disagreeable isnât to his benefit. â... You wouldnât believe me even if I told you the truth, anyhow.â After all, the truth is that he has to stay in literal Hell so that he doesnât turn into a horrific pile of flesh and eyes whenever in sunlight, and he returns once the sun sets.
âAnd judging by the blood on your cheek, I can only assume someone got maimed or murdered when I was sleeping.â Probably both Sirius and Wilardo, considering that Ashe has a gun.

Noel wasnât really sure what to do, the demons around were less active for the time being, giving him peace so he could perhaps search more thoroughly for the contract, but instead he found himself wandering aimlessly, perhaps hoping that someone else would be up so that he could socialize with someone not damned to hell for once.
âAh-- I didnât mean to scare you--!â Noel stammers as he watches Claire trip over herself. He immediately reaches out to help her, but when she catches herself just fine, he sighs in relief and relaxes.
âS... Stargazing, hm? That sounds lovely, Claire.â He approaches her with an embarrassed smile on his face. Heâs wanted to ask her to look at the stars with him for a while, but he never had the opportunity... until now. âIâm actually a really big fan of astronomy, to be honest...â Noel mumbles as he fiddles with the cuffs of his sleeves, not really expecting her to listen.
âLovesick loser.â Rouge snarks at him, but he ignores her. And Claire canât sense her presence, either.

â... In the way of what, Ashe? Iâve been trying not to disturb you all too much with my wandering at night, I canât help my sleep schedule...â He holds his hands up in a surrendering motion, watching the other carefully.
âIf... If you kill me, the others will find out easily, you know...â Has he already killed Sirius at this point? Noel only just âwoke upâ a few minutes ago, he came back to find Ashe investigating his room... And now this.
He glances down for a split second, and notices that the carpet has been moved and thereâs something like a trap door underneath it. Noel mumbles to himself, â... What on earth is that...?â He never knew about a basement in his room. Sirius never told him, this detail wasnât in his memories... how did he not know about this?
He mentally shakes his head -- nowâs not the time for that -- and returns his attention to Ashe. âWhat the Hell were you doing in my room, anyways?â He knows the man is desperate but does he have no sense of privacy?

lavender-tsundere:
Sirius walked out of the kitchen but paused upon hearing foot steps. His eyes narrowed. If that idiot is doing what I think heâs doing Iâll be quite displeased.Â
He poked his head around the corner of the end of the hallway, his hand rose to pinch his brow as he sighed. âStubborn, arenât you, Noel?âÂ
He rolled his eyes, scaling the stairs. âGive me a moment then.â Sirius went to Noelâs room setting down the tea tray before going back to help his friend.Â
The height difference was helpful as well as hindering, it made Sirius into a decent crutch for Noel. Allowing the injured hater to lean on the Lavender as the two scaled the stairs. âIf I had even half the energy and if your wounds werenât otherwise fatal, I would have smacked you by now.â
While his words were intimidating, Noel could hear the concern laced in them. Sirius always had a difficult time vocalizing his emotions even though he himself was highly expressive.
Noel freezes up, ashamed and ready to be dragged back to Siriusâs room. Rouge takes a few steps away, holding her arms up in a surrendering motion as Sirius walks... straight past them? They both stare at him as he ascends the staircase to presumably deliver the tea to Noelâs room.
When Sirius returns and forces his way to Noelâs side, heâs both grateful and regretful. The demon winces in pain as they make their way up the staircase. â... Thank you, Sirius,â despite how much it hurts, he smiles down at the other, genuinely grateful. âIâm sorry to trouble you like this...â
âTalk about heartwarming... ugh.â Rouge simply crosses her arms and smirks at Noel as she follows the two men, as if to say âI told you I shouldnât help.â
âI know Iâm stubborn, but I hope itâs not too much of a bother...â he sighs as they finally reach the end of the stairs and start heading down the hallway.
