God is not a God who tolerates you. He is a God who loves you. He is a God who desires you.
Paul Washer
Closeness to God isnât about the situation youâre in. Itâs not about how you feel, or where youâve been, or what youâve done. Itâs about obedience. How far youâre willing to hear His word and put it into practice. Closeness to God isnât an emotion, or a memory, or a set of circumstances.
Closeness to God is a daily devotion to do the things He asks of you. Itâs that simple.
I want to encourage you not to allow a fear of stepping out of the will of God to paralyze you. Trust me, if you take a wrong turn, God will not hesitate to lead you back to where He wants you to be. As long as your heart is seeking Godâs heart, you will quickly get back on course.- Christine Caine

âGo and love someone exactly as they are. And then watch how quickly they transform into the greatest, truest version of themselves. When one feels seen and appreciated in their own essence, one is instantly empowered.â

âAnytime youâre gonna grow, youâre gonna lose something. Youâre losing what youâre hanging onto to keep safe. Youâre losing habits that youâre comfortable with, youâre losing familiarity.â
â James Hillman (via thequotejournals)
Itâs scary but itâs necessary
You donât need to justify who you are to anyone.
People think that if you change something in the past it could drastically affect the present, but never really think that what they do in the present could drastically affect the future.
God: I am here today.
God: I was here yesterday.
God: I will be here tomorrow.
God: Iâm not going anywhere.
God: I am.
âInstead of a river, God often gives us a brook, which may be running today and dried up tomorrow. Why? To teach us not to rest in our blessings, but in the blesser Himself.â
