Really hate it when people call flirty jokes, fun between actors and real actual friendship interactions -> fanservice.Â
I know we are all damaged by oldschool thai marketing strategies of the BL industry BUT not all closeness is for you to be serviced to?? People (actors are people) can joke-flirt and be close for real, in real life without it having anything to do with selling their content and shipâŠ. And yes, you can flirt-joke, hold hands and cuddle all platonically just for fun.
I find this mindset so sad, that everything is seen as fanservice still. In the eyes of RL-shippers or in the eyes of anti-RL-shipper.
