A tribute to ROGER EBERT
The Birthday Project
Today is my birthday. I haven't been posting as much so I am going to do it more often. We have done some cool things. We decked out a tree on Christmas (more on that later). Have you heard of the birthday project? The concept being you should do Random Acts of Kindness for your birthday to celebrate. Since I will be 26 we will be doing 26 RAOK today. We will keep you posted.

This is the start of a long list of posts from us about caring more for humanity than gifts this holiday season.
See the human being
Here at Kindness Bomb we think the best way to stand up to bullying is to make a conscientious effort to not be a bully. like the over used cliche says, "Check yourself be fore you wreck yourself." Do you do any of the following?
Talk about celebrities, friends, co-workers or strangers? Does the information you are spreading paint this person in a negative light?
Do your social media posts "call out" a person or group of people?
Do you give dirty looks to people?
Have you taken the time to find one thing you appreciate about the person you are currently interacting with?
The easiest way to become a bully is to stop seeing our fellow human beings as human beings. This means acknowledging they have souls, feelings, struggles, strengths, truths and lies. These are the same things you have. Are your actions motivated by embracing these things about your fellow human kind or are they about destroying them?
I hope that today you take the time to embrace the people around you . NO MATTER WHAT. The person pouring your coffee or making your meal, the stranger with the different style or education than you all need you to take a moment to find something you can embrace about them and not something you can tear apart.
This is one of our fave Banksy pieces!

Famous Failures: Meet the people who proved that failure is just a stepping stone to success.
Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.

asiantamm:
you are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars . you have a right to be here and whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should . therefore be at peace with god, whatever you conceive him to be . and whatever you labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
be gentle with yourself .
I am only one; but still, I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do something I can do.

When the alternator on my ‘92 Ford Taurus died this weekend at a stop light in 115’F weather, my twin and I were stranded for about 45 minutes in heavy traffic with no shade. An angel crossed 3 lanes of traffic and brought 6 bottles of water to my twin and I. He said, “I saw y’all stranded here and thought ya might need a little water.” He recrossed the 3 lanes of traffic before I could thank him.
Lifesaver.
We love this story. If you have an act of kindness to share please send it to us via the submit page.
