British artist Andy Goldsworthy's sculptures melt and decay. "It's not about art," he says. "It's just about life, and the need to understand that a lot of things in life do not last."
Love this.

10 Signs Your Life Is On Track, Even When It Doesn’t Feel Like It
Mind Body Green writes:
We can be in only one of two states: Either our minds are running us or we are running our minds.
Happiness is a choice, but sometimes choosing happy can be hard. Why? In the pursuit of happiness, many of us are distracted and disheartened by the noise of our minds running rampant.
If (even in your pursuit of happiness) you still struggle with depression or life sometimes doesn’t make sense, you’re not alone. We all have moments of frustration. Resisting these feelings actually keeps us from being happy.
As a life coach, my clients are on personal growth journeys, and they often feel guilty for being angry or jealous. In reality, this is just our humanness at work. We struggle because we think we aren’t supposed to struggle. Be compassionate with yourself and embrace your humanity.
Incorporating happiness into our lives is a dedicated practice. Like any new skill, we must allow ourselves to be beginners at first. We stumble, we get angry with ourselves because we aren’t seeing results; This only adds intense pressure that prevents us from moving forward. I bet you’re doing a lot better than you give yourself credit for.
Here are 10 subtle signs you’re headed in the right direction — even when it doesn’t feel like it.
After a 20-minute flight over the city of New York, Stephen Wiltshire, diagnosed with autism, draws the whole town with only his memory.

Found a collection of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Romare Bearden, and Pablo Picasso influenced poems I wrote in 2013…
Come to the orchard in Spring. There is light and wine, and sweethearts in the pomegranate flowers.
If you do not come, these do not matter. If you do come, these do not matter.

Me everyday.
Donald Byrd.
…and then it came to me: like a bolt of lightning through my body… into my bones… a cloud drifting through my blood & organs… in a gentle, but forward manner… all blue: the sky inside of me that needed to breathe. I pulled brass from the pieces of my lungs left, the ivory colored smoke, a fog of music: the sound of honey… the gold tooth, aphrodisiac painting of skeletal melody… the clapping of hands… the wild, electric roar of imagination & effortless motion… to speak in prayer, unintentionally, out of sheer passion… to create a revelation out of thunder.

I’m intrigued by the visually appealing. The cinematic/photographic world.
I love: Sounds. Pictures. Colours. Clouds. Stars. Moons. Suns. Skies. Oceans. Music. Paintings. Poems. Songs. Prayers. Chants. Words. Voices. Memories. Laughter. Languages. Countries. Constellations. Chimes. Bells. Films. Cassette tapes. Records. Vhs tapes. Rotary phones. Notebook paper. Used books.
Wings flapping. Birds chirping. Flags fluttering. Curtains Blowing. Wind soaring. Leaves rustling. Sticks crackling. Snow crunching. Rain dancing. Children singing.
