Several people have pointed out that in many countries outside the U.S., dates are written day/month rather than month/day, which would make Meat Day actually September 2nd. To which I would like to say:

1. In Japan it’s month/day, so February 9th would technically be the correct date 2. That being said… two Meat Days

"Science that doesn't benefit people is no science at all!" While this statement could theoretically be a slippery slope depending on how "benefit" is defined and which people are benefitting, I really appreciate that Al took one look at many people died for the "science" and called the guy out on it. This is a good philosophy.

Actually, since I do have a moment I would like to say something in honor of October 3rd:

Burning your house down both as a symbol of resolve to move forward and as a symbol of defiance to people in the past who hurt you seems really cathartic, but alas, things like “public safety” and “arson laws” exist.
