god I still love the slow-burn of mShenko, while there’s a lot to critize in terms of missing content compared to fShenko, but I still love it. I’m not here to critize, I’m here to appreciate this romance.

Even if it wasn’t the writers’ intention, in ME1 it feels like Shepard and Kaidan do have feelings for each other, but decide to dance around it and lay it off because of military regulations, ignoring their feelings, probably accepting it will never happen.

In ME2 Shepard ‘dies’ and Kaidan has a hard time accepting that he’s back and working for Cerberus. Shepard really wants Kaidan back, his feelings crashing down on him and leaving him clearly upset when Kaidan leaves him on Horizon.

Then in ME3 when it looks like the world is ending they finally admit to each other that yes, there was a lot of tension, a lot of words unsaid and repressed feelings. After all they’ve been through, they trust each other and have each other’s backs. They love each other.

You know, the Mass Effect team could have taken the easy path and simply replaced femshep with mshep for the mshenko romance scene, but instead they replaced femshep with Kaidan, thus creating the hottest scene in all video game history:

This is my 2018 N7 Day Piece. I went a little overboard on this one slightly because I haven’t done a N7 illustration in 3 years. its 100% due to depression with wanting to art. Everyone who knows me knows that Mshenko has a huge place in my heart. and every single year I honor them and their love, even if I cant bring myself to draw. I was early with this years. 8) This is also another old picture I finally found drive to finish. My wonderful friend @Lurockia had drawn the armor for me based off of a horribly old sketch I had done like FOREVER ago. I am super glad I waited so long to finish this because the skill upgrade gave the amazing armor work justice. Anyways have my OTP. <3
