*Were on a Landing pad of a far out Starport somewhere in no man's space. The edges of Civilization basically. On the landing Pad two ships are located, one larger then the other.
The smaller ship seems fairly rundown with pockmarks of small sized impacts littering it's Rectangular tall hull while the larger vessel, which is occupying the majority of the landing zone with its flatter and square build, has less pockmarks and more rust on it's exterior.*
Well then, here are our "New" freighters.
I'll be commanding the larger one, who flies the smaller one is up to you to make out upon yourselves, just stick close since the smaller one is nearly unarmed. From the moment of boarding we'll be appearing as a "Personell Procurement" convoy for a mining outpost.

so uh, what kinda weapons these smugglers packin? we talkin ballistic, plasma, ion, emp, laser, chemburn, or explosive?

yeah, i can tell. only people ive seen insane enough to use chemburn weaponry was Nanotrasen. well they did service hellguns, but they had to cover them up due to the multiple geranatir convention violations the weapons broke, they added a voltage limiter to make regular laser guns that dont cause harsh infections from open burn wounds, though most black markets sold degradation kits with instructions on how to remove the limiter and other programmed safeties, so it was kinda futile.

This should only take a moment, the actual approach to the base will be the longest leg of the Journey due to the need to emulate Imperial Travel drives slower speed.
*Just a short moment after we lift off, the accent a lot smoother then one would expect from the looks of the ship. After the atmosphere was left the ships jump to an area just outside the smugglers passage ready to make their way through it*

whats our plan of approach?
Land or dock, whichever method the base uses and then scope out the situation.
We'll be going into unkown territory with little to no knowledge of the layout. Our first goal will be to aquire maps of the base, we can do that the slow way via the high power penetrating sensors of the "Wayward Frontier" that will take a few hours, we can cover those with mock negotiations by some of us while part of our team scopes out the situation on foot.
Or we try to aquire the plans from the station computers. A Faster but riskier maneuver since we'd need to find a computer with access, hack it and download the floorplans. Every step of the way we might have a risk of being detected by the station security.
Juli, what is the relationship of the traffickers to the Empire? My assumption would be officially banned and forbidden but allowed to exist in the shadows is that correct?

yeah, i can tell. only people ive seen insane enough to use chemburn weaponry was Nanotrasen. well they did service hellguns, but they had to cover them up due to the multiple geranatir convention violations the weapons broke, they added a voltage limiter to make regular laser guns that dont cause harsh infections from open burn wounds, though most black markets sold degradation kits with instructions on how to remove the limiter and other programmed safeties, so it was kinda futile.

whats our plan of approach?
Land or dock, whichever method the base uses and then scope out the situation.
We'll be going into unkown territory with little to no knowledge of the layout. Our first goal will be to aquire maps of the base, we can do that the slow way via the high power penetrating sensors of the "Wayward Frontier" that will take a few hours, we can cover those with mock negotiations by some of us while part of our team scopes out the situation on foot.
Or we try to aquire the plans from the station computers. A Faster but riskier maneuver since we'd need to find a computer with access, hack it and download the floorplans. Every step of the way we might have a risk of being detected by the station security.
Juli, what is the relationship of the traffickers to the Empire? My assumption would be officially banned and forbidden but allowed to exist in the shadows is that correct?

The smaller ship seems fairly rundown with pockmarks of small sized impacts littering it's Rectangular tall hull while the larger vessel, which is occupying the majority of the landing zone with its flatter and square build, has less pockmarks and more rust on it's exterior.*
Well then, here are our "New" freighters.
I'll be commanding the larger one, who flies the smaller one is up to you to make out upon yourselves, just stick close since the smaller one is nearly unarmed. From the moment of boarding we'll be appearing as a "Personell Procurement" convoy for a mining outpost.

Well then, here are our "New" freighters.
I'll be commanding the larger one, who flies the smaller one is up to you to make out upon yourselves, just stick close since the smaller one is nearly unarmed. From the moment of boarding we'll be appearing as a "Personell Procurement" convoy for a mining outpost.

Land or dock, whichever method the base uses and then scope out the situation.
We'll be going into unkown territory with little to no knowledge of the layout. Our first goal will be to aquire maps of the base, we can do that the slow way via the high power penetrating sensors of the "Wayward Frontier" that will take a few hours, we can cover those with mock negotiations by some of us while part of our team scopes out the situation on foot.
Or we try to aquire the plans from the station computers. A Faster but riskier maneuver since we'd need to find a computer with access, hack it and download the floorplans. Every step of the way we might have a risk of being detected by the station security.
Juli, what is the relationship of the traffickers to the Empire? My assumption would be officially banned and forbidden but allowed to exist in the shadows is that correct?

*Were on a Landing pad of a far out Starport somewhere in no man's space. The edges of Civilization basically. On the landing Pad two ships are located, one larger then the other.
The smaller ship seems fairly rundown with pockmarks of small sized impacts littering it's Rectangular tall hull while the larger vessel, which is occupying the majority of the landing zone with its flatter and square build, has less pockmarks and more rust on it's exterior.*
Well then, here are our "New" freighters.
I'll be commanding the larger one, who flies the smaller one is up to you to make out upon yourselves, just stick close since the smaller one is nearly unarmed. From the moment of boarding we'll be appearing as a "Personell Procurement" convoy for a mining outpost.

yeah, i can tell. only people ive seen insane enough to use chemburn weaponry was Nanotrasen. well they did service hellguns, but they had to cover them up due to the multiple geranatir convention violations the weapons broke, they added a voltage limiter to make regular laser guns that dont cause harsh infections from open burn wounds, though most black markets sold degradation kits with instructions on how to remove the limiter and other programmed safeties, so it was kinda futile.

whats our plan of approach?
Land or dock, whichever method the base uses and then scope out the situation.
We'll be going into unkown territory with little to no knowledge of the layout. Our first goal will be to aquire maps of the base, we can do that the slow way via the high power penetrating sensors of the "Wayward Frontier" that will take a few hours, we can cover those with mock negotiations by some of us while part of our team scopes out the situation on foot.
Or we try to aquire the plans from the station computers. A Faster but riskier maneuver since we'd need to find a computer with access, hack it and download the floorplans. Every step of the way we might have a risk of being detected by the station security.
Juli, what is the relationship of the traffickers to the Empire? My assumption would be officially banned and forbidden but allowed to exist in the shadows is that correct?
