COSPLAY HELP

Just got over the stress involved with finishing my cosplays for otakon, one of which broke and I scratched the day of which kills me on the inside. And I realize that ny comic con 2013 is just around the corner and I have no costume yet. I'm not even sure what I'm making, I think I'll be a human versions of claptrap from the borderlands video game. Anyone message me if they are going to the con and if being a human version of claptrap is a good idea or no one will know who I am. PLEASE MESSAGE YOUR OPINIONS THEY ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Cosplay Howto: Create medals (cheaper way)

Ok, I decided to upload another quick tutorial. This isn’t a great one, but I’m that kind of person that have only 4 coins on the pocket when starts sewing something. So, we made the last year a cosplay group of Militarystuck and we wanted to make all the medals of the hats look at least with the same design. And I decided to make all of them. First, you’ll need a base -for me was the metallic one that used our dear Vriska- We get the mold with paper clay -or model magic- and then fill it with hot glue. The mold will broke when you extract the piece, but you can use the model magic again for the next ones, since it’s not difficult :DD Cut and clean the pieces, add some base like gesso and paint in silver. Finally, add some black with a dry brush technique. As I said, it’s not the perfect ones, but at least looks good in photos and person, and it’s cheap!

Stuck

So before I got stuck in the bathroom. No I am not an idiot the door just got stuck. Now usually I don't panic but A) there is no cell service on the island so I couldn't call for help and B) the freaking window in the bathroom is too small for me to squeeze out of. But after full out panic and ramming the door like a zombie was after me I managed to free myself
