â⊠Ignis. I have not seen you for⊠quite some time. It is good to see you.â Her eyes met his own. She could still feel the brief images crash against her eyes as she stared, the godâs image mixing with a blurred manâs, waves of confusion from the experience. She hid this the best she possibly could, but her hand clenched on instinct, fingernails digging into her skin to endure the brief pain.
âThe mortals have been most kind to me, some rather unique offerings were given.â She let out an amused laugh, âOne offered an army of fish⊠another some hay. One a beautiful flowerâŠâ Her eyes were filled with warmth, âThey are not bad people.â Regardless, she couldnât get rid of her curiosity. âHow have you fared, Ignis? Has something occurred for you to visit?â
He watched her stagger, there was a part within him that wanted to reach out and help her, support her, but yet he just watched, his pace remained the same. She was a goddess, she didn't need help... He had already offered much help by helping heal the Goddess Tree. Why was she still so weak? Why were they so different, had he been blessed differently? He was a very curious individual, despite being a supposed allknowing deity. But, for some reason, whenever encountering Sephia his mind was always in a blur. How very strange indeed, she was.
It was only once he was closer to her, did he reach out to her. His hand grazed her forehead, feeling the sense of warmness radiating from her. How strange.. For a Goddess like her to be like this, to have such an effect on him and such--."Is that so..." The mortals always treated her better. They knew more of her, and it made sense. She was the one that appealed more, the one that appreciated them more anyways. "...Of course. I never believed they were terrible people. They just are... questionable and lack intelligence. For instance, what are you to do with that army of fish? Give them to the sprites?" He retorted a bit bitterly. Humans and their ridculous offerings.. Were they trying to be cursed?
Of course she would ask. What are you even doing, Ignis? You never bothered to visit her before. You always had to be called by the Sprites? What are you doing? "...I felt your prescence wavering. Are you feeling more weak than you usual do? I..." He stopped himself from rambling, and lowered his head, eyeing his fellow deity, almost as if he wanted her to understand his words through his gaze."I simply came to see if you needed some healing. That is all."
