ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Apparently, it’s been one year since I started blogging.
Hurayyyy🎉🎉🎉Â
It hasn’t been easy trying to be consistent, coming up with blog ideas and all. I decided to give this a shot last year and see how far I could go with it because I knew making videos or being a Youtuber would be a lot harder and since I could write I decided, why not.Â
I had lots of plans for my blog this year but I didn’t…

Hello lovely readers, hope y’all are Gucci cause I’m Mane.
Today’s Interview is with a DJ. Funny enough, I didn’t know the full meaning of a DJ if not until today. So, let me start by saying, what is a party without a DJ? Exactly, jamless. He is someone who has gone places with his work and still looks forward to going places, I have with me DJ Tizzy, baddest Dj in the city of Lokoja, Kogi State.
Lilian: Hello Tizzy, would mind telling our lovely readers your full name cause I’m pretty sure more than half of them only know you as “DJ Tizzy”?
Tizzy:Â My Real Name is Godwin Mustapha Chief.
Lilian: Nice name for a promising young talent. Your Religious background and you hail from which part of Kogi State?
Tizzy: I was a born Muslim, but somehow my family got converted to           Christianity and now I’m a converted Christian. I’m an indigene of Edo state but born and brought up in kogi state.
Lilian: Mind telling us your age? Don’t be shy.
Tizzy: Lol” sure ! I clocked 26″ sept 3rd this year
Lilian: What Institution do you attend and what course do you offer?
Tizzy: I’m a student of Kogi State Polytechnic, studying Public administration, in management studies
Lilian: Shocking how your field of study doesn’t really have anything to do with music
Tizzy: Hmmmm, yeah I never really intended to take entertainment to this extent, even while i was studying but somehow I just discovered I can’t really stay out of this thing I’ve found love in doing so I had other choice than to just create more joy in doing them both “Studying outside my musical career”
Lilian: So tell us, what does the acronym DJ stand for? Not so many of us know the meaning.
Tizzy: Disck Jokey
Lilian: What brought about this talent of yours and what has been your motivation so far.
Tizzy:From my childhood i’ve been a lover of music, and also Musical instruments. To an extent Dad bought me a full drumset when I was 10 and that actually boost up my inspiration into learning other instruments like the keyboard and the bass guitar which I own.
Lilian: How have you been able to combine school work and DJ’ing?
Tizzy: Not really easy though. If i\I must say, I think that it’s God, because sometimes I just wonder how I don’t get to have events when I’m having a busy schedule in School. And even if it occurs that wouldn’t make me disappoint my customer and my fans rather, I’d skip the school activity. Not for the money but for the love of music and Dj’ing.
Lilian: You also sing?
Tizzy: I can’t say I sing. But I can boldly say I know the rythments of music to an extent, cause I can actually tell when a music or tone is bad, and when you’re of your key or octave. Yeah
Lilian: Nice, from the little research I made about you, I hear that you also help young and talented upcoming artistes within the state, how true is that?
Tizzy: Yes I wouldn’t say that’s not true. Because often time some of them come to me and be like “Dj Tizzy I want you to listen to my song, how can you help me get it heard by your fans” and if the song is actually good, I’ll encourage them and do the little promo i  can just to make sure they feel encouraged and also give them platform to perform at my shows.
Lilian: Oh wow, how interesting. You host shows of your own too?
Tizzy:Â Yes! sometimes twice in a year I make sure I do a show where upcoming Artistes, Dancers & Comedians would be given chances to showcase their Talent.
Lilian: How successful were the turnouts?
Tizzy: The turnout is always massive.
Lilian: That’s really cool you know. Seems your friends and fans have been really supportive too.
Tizzy: Yes and I can never stop thanking them for believing in me.
Lilian: I also heard that you charge a lot?
Tizzy: Heheheheheh! Not at all, the simple truth is; if you need a Good Dj you should be ready to pay for a good job. That’s what I think.
Lilian: Lol, but very true though. Before we round up, what’s your thought on the trending #Onecornerdance challenge?
Tizzy: To me that’s not a song People should dance to beacuse such songs do not pass good messages.
Lilian: Honestly, I don’t disagree with you. Mind telling us if there are any upcoming artistes we should look out for?
Tizzy: Lots and lots of them . Even within and outside this state, I think very soon the Old stars will fall dim and the Young stars will light up.
Lilian How about a drop down of the events you would be hosting before the year runs out?
Tizzy: Still working on it. I think that will be towards the end of the last month of the year. But no date yet.
Lilian: Thank you very much Tizzy. Do you have anything to say to your fans and my readers?
Tizzy: I really want to say  a big thank you to my friends, fans and family for their love, prayers and support. I promise to keep up the good work. God bless you all.

I don’t know Art.
I call a piece of amazing work “Art”. I sometimes think myself to be an art work, other times, thought is different.
We are all artworks, our creator designed us differently.
Photography is also art. My love for photography is just crazy. I want to be in front of the camera and behind the camera. Being in front of it is Pure Bliss (lol, I just remembered that biscuit that’s called Pure Bliss), being behind it is Imaginative Creativity.
Going through Twitter, VSCO, Instagram and finding out the beauty the Youth creates is mad amazing. I literally want to know this people personally.
Your art can be amazing if you appreciate others and work towards yours.
Be Unique, Be Spectacular. Have a definition and a Concept.

After attending The Mindsight Photography Exhibition by Stephen Arudi, it is plain clear that creativity and photography is life and there are so many things to learn.
I want to use this post to connect to the wide range of creative photographers out there. You guys are  gems. And to all the photographers I have as friends “Work hard guys and make perfection key, you’ll all go places just be consistent and unique” God bless your pockets and shower you with blessings.
If you agree with me say Yay!

Hello guys, good day and welcome to Lilian’s Blog, thank you for clicking on the link.
This is an interview section I had with a Social Media Influencer Madeleine Ugochi Enyi AKA 9jawitches/baggal_maddie who is popular on NaijaTwitter. She is known for her participation on different topics on Twitter, her clapbacks that also go a long way as to appear on different pages on Instagram, the wonderful act of giving and the help she renders to her followers. She tells us a bit about herself, how the journey started and how it has been so far. So, let’s read what she had to say.
Lilian: Hello Maddie, it’s so good to be having this little interview section with you. My readers already know your name and what you do so please be kind to go further and tell us more about yourself. For example, You hail from what state here in Nigeria?
Maddie: I am from Delta State, Ubulu-uku to be precise.
Lilian: What University do you attend and what course do you study?
Maddie: I am studying Psychology in the University of Lagos. 100L student
Lilian: I would have asked your age, but many females love to keep their ages secret, if you don’t mind, please tell us?
Maddie: Well, I am 20, lol
Lilian: Wow, she isn’t shy at all. A round of applause to you then. Lol. Apart from being a social media influencer is there any other thing you are presently into?
Maddie: Well. Not really, I am a part-time MUA
Lilian: I’ve been wanting to ask if you were a male or female because honestly a lady who takes interest in football is a superwoman, nice work though.
Maddie: Lol! Many people ask me that question. Till now, people still think I am a catfish but well I am not. I just do what I do to make my here on Twitter fun. I just don’t want to be that normal girl, I want to stand out in whatever career I find myself in.
Lilian:Oh that’s cool. If I may ask, when did u start being a Social Media influencer?
Maddie: Well, let’s just say about two months ago. I started using Twitter actively 3 months ago, I used to just have 7k followers, then I was not popular. I was just a normal user. Then when I started making funny memes & participate in social discussion, I started gaining recognition here. So I can say it took me about a month to gain such strength to becoming a social media influencer
Lilian: Are your followers supportive?
Maddie: Yea, my followers are the most supportive. Like, I call them my family. They can be annoying sometimes with their criticism and all but well I think that’s part of the game. I learn from most of them, some I discard because they can be really offensive and not constructive in any way. I owe them a lot cos they expect much from me. I always look forward to making sure this place remains a heaven for we all. Where you pain & frustration can be lifted from daily jokes and clap backs I tweet.
Lilian: Awwwn, that’s really sweet. I’ve seen that you are one badass savage, lol, I’m a fan.
Maddie: Lol! You are? Wow I have a fan? Maddie has a fan? Haha. Thank you
Lilian: You’re welcome dear. So If I decided that I want to become a Social Media influencer, how would you advise me to go on  that?
Maddie: Well, the social media influencing game ain’t easy though. It is dominated mostly by men. All I can say is be focus & be creative. Consistency & creativity are the two keys behind my success here as a social media influencer.
Lilian: I agree, that is key. You help people advertise their businesses right?
Maddie: Yes I do, I’m a digital marketer.
Lilian: Okay so, I see you and this other guy are friends on here, uhm Favour Onyeoziri aka Rouvafe
Maddie: Yea, we are. I have learnt a lot from him. He has been helpful to me here. He helped me stand on my feet. He is a nice guy.
Lilian: Awwn, a big shout out to him then. Alright, one more thing, are you presently in any relationship cause I’m pretty sure a lot of niggas are in search for a Superwoman to call their own?
Maddie: No, I don’t want to be distracted by that now. I still got a lot of things to do. Relationship will come later.
Lilian: For the guys interested, hope y’all heard the lady. Well, Maddie it has been sure a pleasure getting to know you. I really appreciate this but before we round up could you tell us, during your time of being popular and all, what has been your most achieved goal.
Maddie: My most achieved goal is hitting 5 million impressions on a tweet.
Lilian: What a wow, that’s really impressive you know.
Maddie: I know right
Lilian: “If I tell you say I love you oh, my body my money na your own oh baby……” finish it
Maddie:Â Bill gate money for my account ti oh
Lilian: Lol, go girl, you are on point. So what would you like to say to your fans, my readers and Nigeria as a whole?
Maddie:Â I will like them to focus & be original in whatever they do regardless of the circumstances they find themselves in. Consistency is key.
Lilian: Alright guys, y’all have heard from our one and only Badgal, you can follow her on the following social media platforms.
Maddie:Â Twitter: @badgalmaddie_ @maddieflows Instagram: badgalmaddie_ Snapchat: badgal_maddie

The Interview With Lilian Hello guys, good day and welcome to Lilian's Blog, thank you for clicking on the link.
Happy Weekend to you birdies
26th of August 2017, 3:00pm
Have you ever been to an Art exhibition or any Exhibition at all? If not the here’s an interesting little tale from the one I attended in August.
The Mindsight, a photo exhibit by Stephen Arudi
“The MINDSIGHT is the ability of the mind to focus, The ability of the mind to understand, imagine, or penetrate.
This project is about understanding how the mind works through art, the imaginations that comes by trying to tell a story through art and finally passing such story to people making it sink right inside the soul…. Art is all about the eyes of the MIND.
“If your MIND can see it, your CAMERA can photograph it” (sa photography)”
Nigerians are so bad at keeping up with time, it runs in the blood. Lemma start by saying it was madd amazing when I found this image on the wall, I couldn’t stop blushing and smiling all at once, swept me off my feet honestly.
These images are a must have, I sure am getting one before this year runs out. The whole magic behind it is wonderful, the moment was caught in perfection. You’d agree with me that they are amazing.
Enough about the images, Let’s talk the audience/crowd/people. The people who attended this event were lively and fun to be around. I really didn’t feel alone as one could walk up to anyone and have an interesting conversation. The connection going on was surprisingly great.
Looks like Cypher is making moves on Vivian
The Small Chops. When I saw this table I just knew that my plans of leaving early had to be on hold until I had those golden round imperfect looking puff puffs. And I did, when the stick of two puff-puff was handed to me, I looked round to see how everyone was handling theirs and I got comfortable. Nobody cared how you ate yours, so my brethen I threw (literally) each ball into my mouth one after the other was digested. Something that gave me joy was when a stick was handed to a young lady standing in front of me, she smiled and was like “oooh yes” in a calm excited voice (can’t really remember what she said exactly but her expression I recall)  like she had been waiting to have them. There was more than enough drinks for everyone but I had only a one cup (we don’t want to come and be showing eating skills here now, do we?) The popcorn, arhh, thank God I got home before devouring that one, I didn’t have the strength to be forming porsh on top popcorn, I needed to let the village girl in me out while taking it in. The first and last time I had a popcorn like this one was early January in Awka, Anambra state Nigeria. I need to meet whoever made this one, she did a wonderful job (if you were there then you probably know how good the popcorn was, not that one we buy from Treasure Bakery no offence). Enough about the food.
Rounding up, the event had guest speakers who took their time to explain creativity, mindsight in relation to photography and life. It was the first, the best but surely not the last.
Next time when I put up an event that y’all should attend, you better do without second thoughts. P.s Stephen you did a great job winks
Word: Let your life be a creative example to the world.
Until next time

Summer Summary
This is Lilian y’all, I know you know but let’s allow it. I know you missed me, I know you did, but I’m back now so don’t worry much.
From the deepest part of my heart, I sincerely apologize for my inconsistency these past few months. A lot has been going on, though they aren’t enough excuse as to why I haven’t had any post up since June. Happy New Month and Barka da Sallah to my Muslim Friends. (Sallah is past but just let this one go)
Let me start by saying, August didn’t go as I had planned from the beginning of the year. Some things went south for me while some others went well.
Oh well, I want to give you a drop down of some of the important things that took place during the summer.
In July I got a phone call from my friend to help assist in a photo shoot for his friend. In all my pride and mumuness I went. I was a bit humble because most of the fac….infact all the faces except one was new to me. So I didn’t get to be me most of the time. Big ups to Aqshotit I’m still waiting for images mahn.
July 27th Salem Oxford and Wisdom school had their graduation. All my friends were graduating so I had to go. I went with my lil bestie. Imma drop a picture or two from the grad ceremony.
August started normal, I had plans but had to shift them to face other issues/matters arising. I got invited to attend an Art, Music and Drama show. Was in the evening, I wasn’t too impressed with the crowed at the beginning had gate fee, so not too many people showed up. It was cool; the Drama presentation was the real deal. The story line was unique, the actors played their roles well and the organization was on point. Lasted till late 10pm, was worth it.
TOM had their Teens and Youth camp, a day after Chapel of freedom commenced theirs which ended on Saturday. On Friday before the last day at camp I went for their Dinner Night and Talent hunt show. The atmosphere was cool, the people were lively,  that was the first day I saw D Professor perform, tbh I wasn’t too impressed I’m not so easy to impress so no ish He is good at what he does though. Was in the evening so I didn’t get to take any picture
On the 26th of August, my good friend Stephen Arudi had his Photo Exhibition at Miami Hotels and Towers. My next post is going to be about it so let’s save the photos for then.
On the 27th of August, my buddies Emmanuel, Phavour and Mayorwa had their concert at Salem chapel. It was super though there was a downpour that day which I believe hindered a lot of people and some guests too from showing up.
It was this summer that really made me realize my pure love for creativity and photography. Well, it made me realize a lot of things for instance, Nothing good lasts forever, but there’s no harm in trying. Imma try until I know there’s no hope, therefore get ready for disturbance.
Lagos
Summer chills
I hold no credit for these images.
Some parts of the summer was fun. Holla to the new few friends I made.
Summer is officially over. Back to work
Word: Not every friend is meant to stay. Don’t feel bad when you lose some, you’d surely make new ones. Have Fun!
