Scribble: Scorpio & Pluto Rising
First post here! This is a brainstorm on what it feels like to be a Scorpio Rising, Pluto (Rx) conjunct ASC (personal case here). Any given position can't be generalized, but this configuration definitely colors my personality BIG TIME! I'm sure other fellow plutonians will agree on this… let me know!
Life is tough, but you're tougher. Nobody can break you but you. You desire to annihilate your ego before it annihilates you. Defensiveness is a deep ingrained instinct. Extremely bullied or overpowered in childhood. Or, unwillingly intimidating. Nobody dares to touch you. Nobody wants to mess with you. You don't fear death, you provoke it. You destroy to build. You build to destroy. Finding yourself in power struggles time after time. You are what people fight or obsess for. You fight and obsess for objects of interest. Addictive tendencies. You need something to be fixated upon. Obsession with looks. Your appearance matches your inner changes. You are master of your image. You push your body to the extremes. You command others to back off with just one glance. Your eyes do the talk. Your stare kills. Eyes that fuck. Thick, stern brows. Hormonal imbalances. Fertility issues. The gravity in your voice. Magnetizing or repelling beyond logical explanation. Mystery is your trademark. You get under people's skin and nerves. X-ray vision. X-ray intuition. Inborn detective. Secrets bow to you like lovers. Deciphering motives is your innate talent. You study and deconstruct people as if they were machinery. You read the room and know where power emanates from. Your presence is never lukewarm. Others fear you. You intrigue others. You don't understand why people react so extremely about you. Other's think you are angry or mournful when you're not. You pretend you don't care, but deep inside you do. You see beyond, but nobody sees inside. Privacy is your sanctuary. You are your sanctuary. Your place of retreat is unknown to the world. Once you let others in, your charm shines effortlessly. Your charisma emerges when you trust. Fear becomes power. The underworld is appealing. You are protected by Death. Dark night of the soul is your terrain. You see beauty in darkness. The darkness inside radically transforms you, for the better and worse. You harness power from grief. Sorrow can be your executioner, but also your savior. Your demons become your friends. You are not afraid of people's disturbing side. Others project their shadow aspects unto you. Others can't understand you. Others can't read you. You make them curious to see what's inside, what you're made of. Do you even know what you are made of? You are a collection of personas, no single identity. You are never the same after critical experiences. You attract intensity, like it or not. Your deepest desire is intimacy, but it never seems safe enough to get there. When you desire something, you know no middle grounds. You die for what you love. You love to death. Your secret wish is to merge souls with the one you love. You draw unwanted attention. You attract over-sexualized people. Animal magnetism. Unspoken seduction. Others want to sex you beyond their control. You desire the forbidden. All things taboo spark your interest. You are the forbidden fruit. You awaken dark desire in your erotic partners, and they like it. Your sex is like a drug. Sexual chemistry is addictive to you. You transform yourself through sexual encounters. Sex partners regenerate when they lie with you. Highest level of intimacy is through eroticism. Tantra. Spiritual sex. Orgasm is resurrection. You like it rough. BDSM and power plays are tasteful. Others want to tame you. You secretly want to dominate those you love. Intense pleasure in being submissive, too. Unspoken and dense sexual tension. The Shaman. The High Priestess. The detective. The psychologist. The prostitute. The soul surgeon. Autodestructive. Self-healing. Are you the hero or the villain? Desire is your basic drive. You despise when someone messes with your vices. Betrayals are your last straw. They happen more than you'd wish to admit. Best way to get you raging is by trying to fool you or cheat on you. Whomever breaks your heart is irremediably dead to you. You don't recycle relationships. You design your own heaven, and also your own hell. Which one shall you cross over this time? 💀

20 Black Inventions Over The Last 100 Years You May Not Know
It’s our duty to tell people about black heroes, black inventors, who changed our lives and changed our future. Black history month is the time when every hidden figure and forgotten genius is remembered and acknowledged by the black community. Here are some of the outstanding people, who brought something new to the world, but were forgotten due to their race.

Lewis Latimer (1848 – 1928)
The Carbon Filament For The Light Bulb.
Latimer is one of the greatest inventors of all time. Thomas Edison may have invented the electric lightbulb, but Latimer helped make it a common feature in American households. In 1881 he received a patent for inventing a method of producing carbon filaments, which made the bulbs longer-lasting, more efficient and cheaper.
Otis Boykin (1920 -1982)
The Artificial Heart Pacemaker Control Unit.
Although there were variations to the pacemaker before Boykin’s invention, the modern-day pacemaker would not exist without his work.
Henry Brown
The Modern-Day Fireproof Safe
When Henry Brown patented a “receptacle for storing and preserving papers on November 2, 1886” This was a fire and accident safe container made of forged metal, which could be sealed with a lock and key. Anyone who has ever had important documents stored in a safe and saved in a fire can thank Brown.
Granville T. Woods (1856-1910)
The Multiplex Telegraph.
The Multiplex Telegraph was a device that sent messages between train stations and moving trains. His work assured a safer and better public transportation system for the cities of the United States.
Gerald A. Lawson (1940 -2011)
The Modern Home-Video Gaming Console.
Anyone who owns a Playstation, Wii or Xbox should know Lawson’s name. He created the first home video-game system that used interchangeable cartridges, offering gamers a chance to play a variety of games and giving video-game makers a way to earn profits by selling individual games, a business model that exists today.
The Cataract Laserphaco Probe.
Her device used an innovative method of removing cataract lenses with a laser, which was more accurate than the drill-like instruments that were in common use at the time. The New York ophthalmologist’s invention, patented in 1988, helped save the eyesight of millions and even restored sight to people who had been blind for more than 30 years.
Marc Hannah ( 1956-Present)
3-D Graphics Technology Used in Films.
Anyone awed by the special effects in the films Jurassic Park, Terminator 2 and The Abyss should thank Chicago-native Marc Hannah. The computer scientist is one of the founders, in 1982, of the software firm Silicon Graphics (now SGI), where the special-effects genius developed 3-D graphics technology that would be used in many Hollywood movies.
Garrett Morgan (1877-1963)
The Modern-Day Gas Mask.
In 1916, Garrett Morgan made national news by using his gas mask to rescue 32 men trapped during an explosion in an underground tunnel 250 feet beneath Lake Erie. His invention has saved the lives of many firemen, police and soldiers across the world.
Lonnie Johnson (1949-Present)
The Super Soaker
The Super Soaker may have been a child’s toy, but it is a great example of an invention with a multimillion-dollar impact. The Super Soaker generated $200 million in annual retail sales and turned Mobile, Ala., native into a millionaire. He’s now using his fortune to develop energy technology.
George E. Alcorn (1949-Present)
The Imaging X-Ray Spectrometer
The Imaging X-Ray Spectrometer allowed scientists to examine materials that could not be broken down into smaller parts for study, revolutionizing the way NASA was able to conduct research. As a result of the significance of this work, in 1984 he was the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Inventor of the Year. Two years later he also developed an improved method of fabrication using laser drilling.
Percy L. Julian (1899-1975)
The Process Of Synthesis.
Synthesis was critical to the medical industry as it allowed scientists to create chemicals that were rare in nature. The chemist’s work led to the birth control pill and improvements in the production of cortisone. In 2007 the PBS Nova series created a documentary on Julian’s life called Forgotten Genius.
Frederick M. Jones (1892-1961)
Mobile Refrigeration
His invention allowed the transportation of perishable foods such as produce and meats, which changed eating habits across the country. Thermo King, the company he co-founded, became a leading manufacturer of refrigerated transportation. Jones also developed an air-conditioning unit for military field hospitals and a refrigerator for military field kitchens. Jones was awarded over 60 patents during his lifetime.
George R. Carruthers (1939-Present)
The Ultraviolet Camera Spectrograph.
The ultraviolet camera spectrograph was a device that traveled to the moon with Apollo 16 in 1972. The camera designed by this Cincinnati-native enabled researchers to study Earth’s atmosphere, providing crucial information on how the world works.
Charles Richard Drew (1904-1950)
The Blood Bank.
His research in the field of blood transfusions led to the development of improved techniques for blood storage. He applied his expert knowledge to the development of large-scale blood banks early in World War II. His invention allowed medics to save thousands of lives of the Allied forces.
He directed the blood plasma programs of the United States and Great Britain in World War II, but resigned after a ruling that the blood of African-Americans would be segregated.
Alexander Miles (1838-1918)
The Modern-Day Elevator Design.
Although Miles may not have invented the first elevator, his design was very important. Alexander Miles improved the method of the opening and closing of elevator doors; and he developed the closing of the elevator shaft when an elevator was not positioned at a floor. Miles created an automatic mechanism that closed access to the shaft.
His patent is still used for most elevators today because they still work under the basic principle of automated opening and closing doors. His life and his invention helped to break down racial barriers in many ways.
James E. West (1931-Present)
The Electroacoustic Transducer Electret Microphone.
Without James West, rappers wouldn’t be able to rock the mic. West, along with Gerhard M. Sessler, helped develop the electroacoustic transducer electret microphone, for which they received a patent in 1962. Their invention was acoustically accurate, lightweight and cost effective. Ninety percent of microphones in use today — including those in telephones, tape recorders and camcorders — are based on their original concept.
Arthur Zang (1988-Present)
The Cardiopad.
The 24 year-old Cameroonian engineer, has invented the Cardopad, a touch-screen medical tablet that enables heart examinations such as the electrocardiogram (ECG) to be performed at remote, rural locations while the results of the test are transferred wirelessly to specialists who can interpret them. The device spares African patients living in remote areas the trouble of having to travel to urban centers to seek medical examinations.
Jan Matzeliger (1852-1889)
A Shoe-Lasting Machine.
Marzeliger, who was from Suriname, invented a shoe-lasting machine that increased the availability of shoes and decreased the price of footwear. Matzeliger’s shoe-lasting machine increased shoe production tremendously. The result was the employment of more unskilled workers and the proliferation of low-cost, high-quality footwear for people around the world.
Elijah McCoy (1844-1929)
A Railroad Lubrication Machine.
McCoy, who was from Canada, invented a lubrication device to make railroad operation more efficient. After studying the inefficiencies inherent in the existing system of oiling axles, McCoy invented a lubricating cup that distributed oil evenly over the engine’s moving parts. He obtained a patent for this invention in 1872, which allowed trains to run continuously for long periods of time without pausing for maintenance.
Ludwick Marishane (1991-Present)
What He Invented: DryBath
At age 21 Ludwick Marishane developed a formula that people use to bathe without water. DryBath is a lotion that cleanses cheaply and easily — especially important for the 2.5 billion people worldwide who lack proper access to water and sanitation.
DryBath has the same effect as an antibacterial cleanser, but it’s odorless and creates a biodegradable film that cleans and moisturizes the skin. Five years later, it’s now available on the market. Marishane has since enrolled at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and was named the Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011.

MBTI - ENNEAGRAM PORTRAITS: HEAD CENTRE TYPE 5
AUTHORED BY ENTP MOD.
5w4: Thinkers with a profound sense of aesthetics. Fives fear being put on the spot. They would always prefer to have all the information in hand, before acting. They believe that their resources are finite, and are therefore afraid of being overwhelmed. So they hoard and withhold from the world. Be it information, emotional expression or something else. Avarice is often the keyword associated with Fives. The Four is equally a shut-in, so this produces a very introverted, artistic individual who is a deep and original thinker, capable of melding functionality and design if he is a creator or innovator. There is an emphasis on beauty and/in melancholy because these individuals possess the psychological depth to process painful experiences and shape them into works of art or offer new lines of thought. They love to surround themselves with things of beauty, often sparse in coloring or expression and quite minimalist. They try to combine functionality and aesthetics, when it comes to making decisions. These people view themselves as being separate from the “normies” and take pride at it. They despair of the frailty of the human condition, and aspire to transcend. There is a tendency towards cynicism and nihilism in these individuals, which is usually brought about in their artistic creations. This is someone who has more of a focus on identity exploration than being group centric or behaving in a community oriented manner. Preemptively reject others from fear of being rejected because of their belief that their true self won’t be understood by, or accepted by people. Will not compromise their true self in order to seek acceptance. May hold controversial and elitist views about humanity. 5w4 is the scientist, who is also a poet or artist at heart. A prime example of 5w4 would be Vittoria Vetra, and her father in Angels and Demons. 5w4 seeks symmetrical structure in art, and the beauty of asymmetry in science. 5w4 is the ascetic aesthete.
5w6: These Fives apart from being investigative, cynical and isolationist are also excellent at identifying potential risks and mitigating them. They are very good troubleshooters. There is an emphasis on an analytical and investigative bent of mind, so they are doubly cautious and reserved in their actions. If the 5w4 can be compared to the scientist who is also an aesthete, the 5w6 is the innovator/inventor and thinker who wants to use their knowledge to benefit the community and resolve issues. Their bent of mind is highly technical and precise which makes them well suited for STEM professions, particularly engineering. With such a focus on problem solving, very little attention is paid to emotions and emotional expression, hence the 5w6 gets a bad rap about being cold or emotionless. However, 5w6 can be deeply loyal and oriented towards the welfare of the small groups that they slowly let in, over time or feel at home with. 5w6 while being loyal can be skeptical of other people’s loyalty and hold them at arms distance, afraid that they will reveal too much of themselves to someone who may prove unworthy of trust, in the future. It may never happen but Sixes are always planning for eventualities that may or may not play out. The way a 5w6 deals with fear is largely by scanning for constant signs of trouble, anticipating it and heading it off with the massive database they have collected. Sherlock Holmes is a great example of a 5w6. He is so focused on troubleshooting, scientific accuracy and precision that he is able to anticipate case complications and crack them with his arsenal of information tucked away in the mind palace.
If they aren’t careful or don’t have someone to drag them out to engage with the external world every now and then, Fives can end up being completely cut off from the world. In case of those with a 4-wing, such unhealthy isolationism can lead to a falsely inflated sense of self. Those with a 6-wing could find themselves growing increasingly suspicious and paranoid about society; unhealthily they could end up finally going off the rails and generate conspiracy theories, lose total faith in all systems and attempt to live off the grid.
Fives and the Perceiving function axis:
NeSi, SiNe: The influence of Five on Ne will expand the individual’s curiosity and thirst for information. They will have a broad understanding, based on the very specific and precise data they collect about a multitude of subjects. In lower Ne users, it may exacerbate fears of being taken advantage of or imposed upon/manipulated, so they will cling to what they know to be true and comforting. High Si users will store away information, never feeling confident enough to share it with others. High Ne users may be a bit more inclined towards sharing information with others.
NiSe, SeNi: Ni + 5 will make the individual focus on attaining a depth of knowledge as opposed to breadth of knowledge, as can be seen in high Ne users. These individuals will spend most of their lines in planning and preparing, because of inferior Se they aren’t quick to action. Five doesn’t think of acting till they believe they have all the data necessary to take a call. They will suffer from indecision about interacting with the sensory elements in the real world. Five disintegrating to Seven can cause an eruption of typical impulsive and reckless behaviors characteristic of unhealthy Se users (in this case, a spurt of inferior Se). Five cramps Se’s style, and will make them slower to act. One of the ways they will take in and store information will be visual and sensory data they collect from their external environment and then process it. Excellent observers of their physical surroundings. Substance abuse and addictive behaviors possible, when the Five disintegrates to a Seven upon the Five not receiving sufficient mental stimulation.
Fives and the Judging function axis:
FiTe, TeFi: Adds a hint of intense emotionalism to the Five which will nonetheless not express it. The Five will be quick to come down in judgment by isolating themselves from those who have violated their Fi values. It gives a sense of fake Ti, because the Five is intent on understanding the world, because knowledge of the world makes them competent and prepared to handle anything the world may throw at them. The values of these individuals is largely tied to intellectual integrity and whenever they feel anything too strongly, they withdraw because they aren’t used to emotional expression. Five will just enhance the love of privacy even more ( especially in high Fi users). High Te users can be very harsh and blunt when it comes to criticizing people who they believe to be their intellectual inferiors, or on encountering incompetent people. Higher Fi users can wallow in their bleak outlook, how they cope with it maybe dependent on the wing to the core Five.
FeTi, TiFe: These individuals are afraid of imposing upon others, as they think others may view this as an invitation to mutually share confidences. Fives hate being intruded upon. Fives largely disregard their feelings. It is not that they are not aware of them. They choose not to acknowledge them and tend to view it as a crutch. They loathe emotional behavior in general, even though they do understand it. They aren’t good at making emotional decisions. High Fe users of this type may shut off their feelings or choose not to dwell on it when someone hurts them, choosing instead to immerse themselves in some intellectual hobbies/interests which they prefer to enjoy by themselves. In TiFe users, Five amplifies the Ti to a great extent because both have total understanding as their aim and complement one another very well. They could bypass their emotions entirely in favor of intellectual stimulation, satisfaction or tending towards towards intellectualizing their emotions instead because it is less uncomfortable for them. Even high Fe users will prefer logical approach and may get uncomfortable if someone tries to elicit an emotional response from them, regardless of the psychological closeness/distance the Five shares with that individual. Prolonged and repeated exposure to such behavior will make the Five less amenable towards such emotional people, ultimately choosing to withdraw into their own selves.
