There was a knock on the door. Mistress looked over and then back towards the basement. Another knock and she stood up and looked through the peep hole. Nyssa watched silently. Mistress turned away right as the door was busted down. A group of men swarmed the woman, and pinned her against the wall. "What, hey! What's going on here?!"
Another woman entered behind the men. She wore a black dress coat over her shoulders.
"Heh, took you long enough, Alessia." Nyssa smiled.
"Sorry about that Nyssa. We had a little unexpected opportunity we couldn't miss. It took us an extra couple of days to handle that."
"Ah, I see." Nyssa responded. Alessia moved over closer to the assassin. She lifted the white haired woman's chin up.
"You like kinda cute all tied up like that."
"Is it because you don't see me like this often?" she smirked back. "Or is it something a little more naughty?"
"As much as I'd like to continue, I have some business to take care of." A loud stomping came from the basement door.
"What is the meaning of this? What's all the ruckus?" A man in a red dress shirt and black vest emerged from the lower floor. "What the..." He was jumped and quickly shoved onto the ground. Alessia turned and her faced darkened. "Who are you?!"
"So you're the one who took her."
"Who are you? What are you talking about?!"
"You took my pet. My Angel." She stood in front of the man on the ground.
"Stop with this nonsense and tell me who you are!"
"I'm Alessia Circe, Head of the Circeian Mafia." The man glared up at the women. "And you're Edric Lelantos, well renowned rich man of the underground pet trade."
"Since, when did someone like you get into pets?"
"Since I found someone who needed help."
"Tch, you're growing soft for that one."
"What happens between me and my things doesn't concern you." She waved her hand as the man and woman were dragged out of the house. "Jasper, please scope out the rest of this cabin. Take anything that might be useful."
"Yes Miss." He went off and explored the rest of the home.
"Thalia, can you take care of Nyssa and take her back to the vehicle?" The maid nodded and went to untie the assassin.
Alessia went down the stairs and into the basement. Her eyes adjusted to dim lighting. The don's breath hitched as she found the angel silently cowering in the corner of the room. Her body had scars all over and her feathers were a mess. "Kira?" The angel looked up at the don and moved over to her slowly. Alessia kneeled in front of Kira and held her hand out. "Hey there angel." The winged girl leaned into Alessia's touch. Her body loosened and she moved closer. The don wrapped her arms around the girl as she silently cried. "It's okay, Angel. I got you. It's been, almost a year since you went missing." She held the girl tightly. "It's okay. You're safe now. We're going home."
