âOh, thereâs no need to apologize, sir! I was not too terrible frightened by your presence! Besides, I should have been watching the area around me more frequently! I was far too absorbed in that book!â
Edd glances at the cover of the book in his hand. âThe Encyclopedia of Smart Thingsâ. What an intriguing text!
âI wouldnât consider myself English exactly. While they do speak English in America, I donât believe it would be the most accurate description of my roots! But yes, as I stated just then, I am an American!â
âOh, and yes yes! It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Mr. Ryouta!â
Kise also looked down at the book Edd was holding. 'The Encyclopaedia of Smart Things' seemed to be...well, knowledgeable, for sure. It wasn't the type of book Kise would normally read, because he didn't really like things that he needs to think a lot about and use his head, but to each to their own!
In any case, Edd seemed to be a pleasant person to be around with. He was very polite too! He chuckled, glad to make a new friend here.
"Ah, so you're from America?" That reminded him of Kagamicchi, except that Kagamicchi was Japanese who used to live in America for a while. "Woah, I haven't been there yet. What's it like in America?"
âHm⊠oh! Intriguing! âŠmmm⊠Good to know!â
Edd looks up from his book and nearly jumps.
âOh dear! I apologize!â
âI did not see you standing there! Salutations! My name is Eddward, but you may call me Edd, with two dâs!â
You scared him too and made him jump in surprise.
"Ahhhh, you scared me! But, it's alright." Recomposing himself, he chuckled and started to apologize as well with haste. "Sorry I scared you!"
"Eh?" He then tilted his head slightly. "Edd? With two d's? So, you're English, huh?" He smiled in a very friendly way as usual, since he was the type to go and make friends. "Cool!"
"I'm Kise Ryouta! Nice to meet you, Edd~."

â Treatment #1: Phobias
[ This treatment is too much for Panda Hero, too. Donât worry, youâre not alone.
She ran in to the cafeteria, hoping that she would be able to escape from the SHARKS THAT WHERE FUCKING CHASING HER. If she had her bat, she wouldâve been just fine. But nope. They took it away.
Panda Hero turned around when she hear someone yelling.. and crying, it seems? She couldâve been sympathetic. But this is Panda Hero, so good luck getting that. ]
âHEY! At least you donât have to deal with sharks.. Jesus christ, how is this fuckinâ possible? Land sharks? Those only exist in cheesy sci-fi movies!â
Okay, that really surprised him, because he didn't really hear her come in, because he was so distracted by worms at the moment. Thus, he let out a sob before he sort of yelled back at her.Â
He doesn't really shout at girls, no matter how rude they may be, so do forgive him, but this situation was agitating him and he was just out of sorts.
"W-wha?! I can't help it though --!"
Wait, what? Did she just say 'sharks'?! He let out a groan.
"Uwahh! This place is crazy!! Land sharks -- that's impossible!!" Kise isn't really bothered too much by sharks, but that's only if they don't attack. Unfortunately, it sounded like the 'land sharks' as this girl had mentioned are viscous and ready for a bite.
Wiping his tears away with his sleeve, he got up and yelled, "Damn, I can't stand this any more! I'm going to go settle this with this doctor!"
â Treatment #1: Phobias
After being chased for what seemed like forever, Rin had finally managed to get the murderer who was chasing her lost by darting in and out of peopleâs rooms that were unlocked and taking odd twists and turns throughout the hall. Even though she had lost him for now, she knew for sure heâd find her again. Just like he did to the other people in all of the movies! The blonde had found herself in the cafeteria, sprawled out on the ground beneath a table. Perhaps that crazy guy wouldnât find her here? She let out a small, shaky breath and slowly let her forehead rest against the hard, cold ground. That is, until she could feel something slithering beneath the palms of her hands. Looking up quickly, the girl let out a scream. Why in the hell were there worms in the cafeteria?!Â
Scurrying out from under the table, Rin quickly shook the insects off of her and let out a long, loud cry.
âThis is so stupid! I canât take this a-anymore!â She didnât realize that there was a boy beside her, but as soon as she noticed him, she quickly wiped at the tears gathering at the corners of her eyes.
âU-Um⊠I mean. Scared? Ha! Iâm not scared of anythingâŠ! Why are you crying?!âÂ
The 16-year-old teenage boy was surprised to see her. He certainly haven't heard her coming in, since he was completely distracted with worms at the moment. He did hear her scream though. Anyhow, most people at his age may be embarrassed that they were discovered bawling like a baby, but Kise wasn't. He never really was, to be honest, even if it was a girl who found him like this. Anyway, who cares about that when the things you hate the most is all around you?
"E-eh?! How can you not be crying?! Uwaahhhh....!" He sobbed out, now using his sleeve to wipe the tears away. God, he was making such a mess of himself.
Sniffing and still crying, he also blurted out. "You were scared too though, weren't you? Really, you don't need to deny it..." Anyone can figure out that this blondie, whoever she was, was terrified too.Â
Heâs definitely not amused at being glomped so suddenly.
âKise-kun, please let go of me.â
Wait. There⊠There is a cafeteria in this place?
âDo you happen to know where the cafeteria is?â
"Aww, how mean, Kurokocchi...!" He's about to cry again and he wants to hold onto you longer and tighter, but he decided to let you go this time instead and hold back tears.Â
Oh, another question. "I sure do! I'll lead you there, if you'd like." He added with a chuckle.
Kise Ryouta | kuroko no basket
Kyaaaa, Kise-kun~! I love youuuuu!
Looks like a fan of his came to visit him or something.
"Eh, seriously~? Thank you!" Smiles warmly.
He's very, very, very used to this and he always responds back with something like that to them. His replies to these kind of things are pretty much almost the same every time.
â Treatment #1: Phobias
"Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
This whole treatment is too much for Kise. He couldn't help but burst into tears just like a child.
He has been running away from worms and because he wasn't really aware of where he was going, he found himself in the cafeteria somehow, but whatever. That wasn't the point right now.
"T-that doctor is so mean! Why worms?!"
âExcuse me, where can I get a vanilla shake in this hospital?â
"Kurokocchi!!! I'm so happy to see you!!!!!!"
Glomps.
Oh, a question. "Eh? Ah, in the cafeteria, I think?"
In comes the copycat.
âEhâŠWhere am I?â
The blonde found himself at some hospital. The strong, unpleasant, yet familiar smell had woken him up just a few minutes ago and for some odd reason, he felt a bit dizzy and light-headed at first. Wincing, he had opened his eyes only to be blinded by the bright lights beaming at him. Quickly, he had shut them again with a small yelp of surprise and pain. Kise had thought that perhaps, he should just let himself sleep fall unconscious again â why bother? â, when he had realized that that wouldnât solve anything. What the hell was going on anyway, he had wondered.
Slowly, he had opened his left eye first, then his right, attempting to get used to the brightness. He soon noticed that the reason why the lights were even more brilliant than ever was because the room was completely all white. And there were some beds that was covered with white sheets. There was no one else here at the moment. He was alone in this room. Blinking, he had gradually got up with a bewildered expression written on his face. A hospital? Did he get hurt badly in a basketball match or something? Wait, noâŠThatâs not right. There were no injuries on him anywhere when he checked himself and he definitely didnât feel any sore places. He wasnât even having a match today, now that he thought about it; just practising as usual. So, when did he get here? Oh, thatâs right, there were some unfamiliar people explaining to him about somethingâŠimportant? And suddenly, they forced him to come with them somewhere, which was most likely this hospital. Guess he slept while they were doing all that. Perhaps, they had put him into sleep. Ah, right. He vaguely recalled, at least, how that happened with the IV and everything. How come he doesnât even remember much though? Could it be amnesia? But, he had a feeling it wasnâtâŠThereâs nothing wrong with his memories, anyway. Probably, he didnât pay much attention. Or something. Kise couldnât really think straight right now. Everything was so confusing.
And it still is. Just after he blurted out his question at no one, he suddenly noticed that he had a red barcode on his skin.
âAâŠbarcode?â Why is this on me?
In any case, he decided to search the room. Maybe he could fine some sort of a clue. And to his surprise, he found it sooner than he thought. There was a manual in the desk drawer.Â
He soon figured out his purpose of being here. Apparently, he had to attend here, because of some kind of illness. That was justâŠridiculous! How can he not know if heâs sick or not? He felt completely normal.
HmmâŠA written manual isnât good enough. Maybe I can find someone and ask them about it, so I can know more about this place and this so-called disease.
With that decision, Kise opened the door and started walking in the halls, hoping to find someone â preferably a doctor or a nurse. But anyone works too.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?
âEh? My favorite inanimate object?"Â
Thinks. He haven't thought about that, to be honest...
He still came up with an answer though.
"Ah, well, I guess basketball, and ah, all the gifts my fans give me! Can't forget that."
