Rin sat up groggily, one small hand immediately rising to press against her head. It was thumping so hard and her throat felt as dry as sand paper. Looking forward, the girl squinted, unable to see anything but darkness before her. What... What in the hell was going on?! A few weeks ago the girl had woken up to a hospital and now she was waking up in complete darkness. She slowly hoisted herself up onto her knees and leaned forward, allowing the palms of her hands to graze the ground beneath her. Her fingertips met dirt and that alone made Rin realize that she was outside now, rather than in the hospital. Perhaps she was finally free?! The girl continued to crawl forward blindly, pausing only when she felt something cold and hard rub against her hand. The girl hesitantly grasped it in her hands and felt around the item, pushing down on a little button her fingers came into contact with. 

The darkness ahead of her suddenly lit up, the tall trees casting shadows on the ground. Rising to her feet clumsily, she held the flashlight out, observing her surroundings. She seemed to be alone in some forest. Deciding that it would be stupid to stand there like an idiot and do nothing, the girl slowly walked forward, coming to a halt when she heard rustling in the bushes behind her. Whirling around quickly, Rin narrowed her eyes at the direction the foreign sound came from and she curled her free hand into a fist.

"W-Who's there?! You better show yourself...!" She called out loudly, her voice shattering through the thick silence.

As soon as the intercom beeped off and the doctor’s voice faded away, Rin could feel anxiety seeping into her chest. Impossible. This had to be impossible. How in the world could a doctor manage to make every patients’ fears come to life? This had to be a cruel, sick joke! In fact, Rin being sick had to be a joke in the first place! Perhaps Len had somehow managed to set this all up? After all, the two of them constantly played pranks on each other, and Len always managed to pull some of the best pranks. If all of this was his doing, she’d have no choice but to accept defeat. 

In the midst of trying to calm herself down and convince herself that everything was all one big joke, the blonde suddenly felt hot breath on her neck. Stiffening up, she let out a small whimper, her breath immediately hitching in her throat. No way. No way. It’s not real. Not real. She chanted the words in her head over and over again as she slowly turned around, coming face-to-face with a masked man holding a bloodied knife in his hand. 

An ear-shattering shriek escaped the girl’s mouth and without a second thought, she shoved past the male and darted down the hallway. Her legs felt like jell-o and she was afraid that she’d fall, but there was no way in hell she’d stop running! Perhaps she could slide into someone’s room for the time being? 

The girl glanced over her shoulder briefly, praying that the murderer from the last movie she had seen had stopped chasing her. But, unfortunately, he was still chasing behind her, weapon raised in the air. Looking ahead once more, the girl ran right into a complete stranger with such force that it sent the two of them toppling over onto the ground. “G-Get out of the way! Can’t you see I’m being chased?!” 

She immediately scrambled to her feet, pausing for a moment before hiding behind the other. “B-Better yet, why don’t you scare that creep off! I’m too young to die! I’m innocent!”

Azazel pushed himself back up, shooting the young girl a jaded glare before he muttered a curse in Russian under his breath and sat up. This was why he hated humans. They were so idiotic. At least mutants could take care of themselves to a degree.

Then again, he didn’t really have the right to think that way, considering that none of the patients there had any of their abilities present. For all he knew, it was a hospital entirely filled with mutants. That actually would not have been much of a surprise, seeing as the doctors spoke as though most people there did begin with abilities of some kind.

“They’re not real.”

He spoke with a thick accent, gesturing towards the man, but it seemed he was still approaching. No matter. Even without his powers, the mutant was entirely capable of fighting far better than the typical thug.

Once standing, he lunged towards the murderer, red devil tail wrapping around their neck before slitting their throat with the pointed tip. The masked man fell to the floor, but Azazel knew that that would not be the end of it. After all, those.. fears that had begun to chase the hospital’s inhabitants— they were not normal, and more would soon be returning.

“You’re never going to escape them unless you run fast or fight back..” Azazel turned back towards the girl, his cold, blue eyes hosting a wintry stare. “глупая девчонка.”

"I don't care if he's real or not! He's chasing me with a knife!" She argued back, still hiding behind the other for her own safety. This guy looked like he could do some damage, so for now, perhaps she was safe? 

As if he was reading her mind, the male decapitated the murderer before them in a matter of seconds. Rin's eyes went wide at the sight and she gasped, immediately covering her mouth with her hand. She was used to seeing scenes like this in horror movies, but that was the thing. They were just movies. This was real. 

Taking a shaky step back, the girl quickly looked away from the headless man, who had by now dropped to the ground. The male's next sentence caught her off guard and she snapped her head in his direction. 

"I can't fight back! I don't even have any weapons!" A sudden idea popped into her head and the blonde reached forward, grabbing a small piece of the male's shirt. 

"I'm just going to stick with you until this all blows over!"

[ Rilianne was rushing through the hospital. She could see the lady in red behind her as she ran, and the sword that she was holding was pointed right at her. Rilianne is NOT going to die today! Or any day, for that matter. There was no way this could’ve been real, she thought. But this is completely real! Or well, that’s what she was thinking, and she’s sticking to it.

The princess had no idea how she was able to turn these sharp corners, but after some time she managed to lose the lady in red, only to find the gray haired-lady chasing after her, too! And so Rilianne had to do all this running, again. She’s tired and worn out. So worn out, that she wasn’t paying attention, and smacked right into a stranger! She fell right on the floor, and just sat there, looking up at the yellow-haired girl infront of her.. Wait. Something is off about this girl, and she can’t quite put her finger on it. ]

“I’m being chased too! Why can’t you move out of the way?!”

[ Rilianne stood up and brushed the dirt off of her dress. ]

“I can’t scare off who’s chasing me, so I don’t think I can scare off whoever is chasing YOU! I am not capable of scaring off anyone, because I’m not very intimidating.“ [ She huffed and crossed her arms. ]

As soon as Rin got a good look at the other, she felt herself frowning. Why in the world did this girl look so much like her...? In fact, had they been wearing the exact same outfit, they would have looked like twins. This girl resembled her more than even Len did. It gave Rin a sense of uneasiness and she was about to comment on it, until she was reminded of her current situation. 

Narrowing her eyes at the other, the blonde crossed her arms over her chest as well. "You obviously aren't intimidating at all! Why couldn't I have ran into someone who would have been more helpful!?" A loud sigh escaped her lips, however Rin paused as soon as she glanced down the hallway to the left. The person chasing her had just turned the corner, and whoever was chasing this stranger weren't far behind, either. Without a second thought, Rin grabbed the girl's hand and darted into one of the rooms, locking the door behind the two of them quickly. Hopefully the locked door would keep those crazy people out! 

With a shaky sigh, she turned and faced the girl that she had yanked inside with her. "W-Who are you, anyways?"

☆ Treatment #1: Phobias

“Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”

This whole treatment is too much for Kise. He couldn’t help but burst into tears just like a child.

He has been running away from worms and because he wasn’t really aware of where he was going, he found himself in the cafeteria somehow, but whatever. That wasn’t the point right now.

“T-that doctor is so mean! Why worms?!”

After being chased for what seemed like forever, Rin had finally managed to get the murderer who was chasing her lost by darting in and out of people's rooms that were unlocked and taking odd twists and turns throughout the hall. Even though she had lost him for now, she knew for sure he'd find her again. Just like he did to the other people in all of the movies! The blonde had found herself in the cafeteria, sprawled out on the ground beneath a table. Perhaps that crazy guy wouldn't find her here? She let out a small, shaky breath and slowly let her forehead rest against the hard, cold ground. That is, until she could feel something slithering beneath the palms of her hands. Looking up quickly, the girl let out a scream. Why in the hell were there worms in the cafeteria?! 

Scurrying out from under the table, Rin quickly shook the insects off of her and let out a long, loud cry.

"This is so stupid! I can't take this a-anymore!" She didn't realize that there was a boy beside her, but as soon as she noticed him, she quickly wiped at the tears gathering at the corners of her eyes.

"U-Um... I mean. Scared? Ha! I'm not scared of anything...! Why are you crying?!"
