There is a server going around right now with the name “Selfship Pirates” (it occasionally rebrands, formerly Selfship Kingdom) ran by an adult man. This server, despite its hard rules on proshipper / fictional age limits POSSESSES NSFW CHANNELS FOR UNDERAGE USERS.
^ Seen above, an adult moderator allowing a child into the “16-17 NSFW Channel.”
The argument made by most of the members and mods is that “16 and 17 year olds are as mature as adults,” you know, common pedophile rhetoric. It also heavily undermines the fact that it’s a federal offense to purposefully allow children access to nsfw content online or otherwise.
If that’s not fucking disgusting enough, our darling admin and server owner, Peter (also goes by Caspian, you’ll see him in these screenshots as “Diego’s Little Meow Meow”) allowed:
A CHILD AS YOUNG AS THIRTEEN INTO NSFW CHANNELS KNOWINGLY.
This thirteen year old was a former moderator appointed by Peter, (I’ll keep them anonymous because god help me they are a victim) and was allowed access to both the 18+ and 16-17 nsfw channel, the ladder of which they frequently interacted in.
Peter, our “definitely not a fucking pedophile” server owner says it “was a mistake on his part” and that “he never did it with any grooming intentions.”
Despite this, the NSFW channel for children remains up and active, easily accessible by adult moderators and anyone who wants to lie about their age.

When confronted with the consequences of his disgusting actions, Peter and his mod team still refuse to keep children out of nsfw spaces and instead raised the mod age minimum to 16. Great way to sweep showing 13 year olds NSFW content under the rug, Peter!
Joining Selfship Pirates as an adult allows you to enable the exploitation of kids, and joining as a child puts you at risk.
This server is highly unsafe and highly disgusting.
