today's sermon was all about the holy spirit (of course) but one thing that really stuck out to me was. what are your gifts of the holy spirit? and do the people around you think of you in terms of those gifts? do they think of you as joyful and kind? generous even when you barely have enough for yourself? and it really convicted me to do better and present myself in a way that is loving, so that my family and my neighbours think of me and think "ah yes, faustina. she's always been a joy to be around."

I’m not even sure how to feel about this. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an image of the Christ child crucified, only Christ as an adult. My first instinct is to recoil in disgust. But this is how innocent He was. Spiritually speaking, this is what was done.
