DIY X Files UFO Cookies from The Sugared Nerd.

The Sugared Nerd and Food in Literature have become 2 of my favorite food sites for interesting, one of a kind desserts and recipes. The DIY X Files UFO Cookies are made from chocolate and Sunbutter dough (Sunbutter = sunflower butter - available everywhere and used as an alternative to peanut butter).

NOTE: Sunbutter was used because of Mulder’s love of sunflower seeds.

Captain America Pancakes

Recipes adapted from here and here, replacing the Bisquick pancake ingredients with those of the first recipe. Pancakes shaped with removable-bottom cake tins of various sizes, butter star (badly) hand cut because I have no cookie cutters. Topping is Stonewall Kitchen Maine blueberry jam, yum. :D

Jack Skellington Cheese Pops (Inspired by/adapted from “Cute Food for Kids”) Babybel Cheeses with cut nori/seaweed for the eyes, black sesame seeds for the nose, and black edible marker (Americolor brand) for the mouth. Skewered with lollipop sticks but wooden popsicle sticks would work great too. You could also make one, without the stick, and pop it in a bento!
