Once he heard the cracking of the wood and the sight of the counter cracking from his grip alone made him nervous. Beads of sweat rolled down his forehead and neck. Oh god.  A voice in the back of Houchou’s head told him to stop while he was ahead.

Then, Hasebe spoke. The tone he had quickly shushed his common sense. 

“'Cause it’s nice to share good stuff,” He replied smugly. “Right? Right?”
