oh in that Finnick ask. I forgot to mention the ableism. If she writes that book, Annie is going to come up, and the way SC wrote her the first time is so hideous that I’m not going to be able to stand it. I think as a fandom and as writers of the pairing we’ve made great strides in just the last few years in terms of fleshing out Annie as a character in her own right, rethinking and interrogating the ableism around her character, and moving away from using her as a plot device for a man, but I worry that if this book is to happen, people will get obsessive over “canon compliance” and that canon compliance will be an offensive portrayal. I just don’t think I would be able to stomach such a backslide.

I really enjoyed designing effie and imagining what capitol fashion would be like . For her outfit, I took some inspirations from high fashion on runway shows/ current trends and gave it a new eclectic spin!
