I am not saying that all feminist and all antifeminist have to get along, but the least we could do is show each other common respect, because if we can't show each other common respect then how can we speak about equality? We cannot, yes there are those on both sides who yell at the top of their lungs and do things that make members of their group shake there heads in shame, but we need to push them aside and allow voices of reason to speak.

If you do not agree with what is being said,then say it, but please try not to add in curse words or derogatory names, or worse sending out threats because you are doing a disservice to your group. 

Be mature, and be respectful.

If we were all able to put down and look the labels and stereotypes of feminism and antifeminism then as a unified team we could get a lot more done for the genders. I say for the genders because I don't know how someone choose to identify themselves. So if you are a feminist, or an equalist, or a humanist or any other title that choose not to associate with feminism please I ask you as one person to another who wants to see change happen instead of fighting each other, let's take on the world as a untied front, instead of causing more battle ground to pop up. Let us step away from the stereotypes that seem to buildup around our groups, and say "No I don't condone that kind of action." If more people from these groups start to act like this then change for the better can happen. Yes I get that these groups won't always be able to agree on everything and that's normal, but let's be mature about it, in short agree to disagree.

The moment you use all feminist or all antifeminist your argument becomes mute. The reason being no one has met ever single feminist or antifeminist, yes there have been those who scream and cry the loudest, but guess what that group doesn't have to speak for you and shouldn't speak for you.  Both sides want equality, there is just a different name for it and I can understand why . So before you label me as a common feminist allow me to stop you because I am not. And allow me to tell you why.

I don't think all men are horrible. Growing up I had more male friends then female ones 

Rape is horrible and should be punished no matter the gender of the rapist 

domestic abuse is horrible and should be reported 

Equal pay doesn't all exist 

my political ideologies are mute, in other words don't bring politics into the discussion, unless we are discussing politics and then it is a different conversation

I don't care what someone wears. why it's a persons choice to wear whatever they want and have the right to feel comfortable in it

everyone has a different opinion and it should be respected.  

if you are an antifeminist, that's fine and we'll have no problem with each other so long as we show each other common respect.

If you want to be a feminist great, if you want to be an antifeminist and classify yourself as a humanist or and equalist then that's fine, because it's not my place to judge. However I implore you all to stop listening to all  screaming and shouting because 9/10 they want to start trouble and will refuse to listen to anyone but themselves. I also implore you to treat the other side with some respect. If someone talks to you with respect then please don't make fun of them, don't curse at them,  because when you do this you are reinforcing a stereotype. 

So antifeminist don't say "all feminist are man haters." why you haven't met every feminist, and when you talk like that you tend to sound like those kinds of feminist you dislike.  Yes there are some who hate men and want to see bad things happen to them but it's not all of them.  

Feminist please don't attack someone who claims to be antifeminist, you can explain in a mature fashion why you are a feminist but chances are you aren't going to change their mind and it's vide versa. 

I have met men who are feminist and who are against feminism, I have met feminist that have made me angry and I have met feminist who are amazing. In short it's all about who you are exposed to. 

However this is my opinion and I cannot control anyone, but hopefully I can give you all something to think about.

If you are going to be an informative blog there is a small list of things that I should and should not be there.

if you are trying to prove a point get creditable information aka scholarly articles with references. blogs with ads do not count.  

please don't swear. I get with friends this is ok, but if you wish to come across as professional, swearing will not get you there, in fact it makes you look immature.  

be respectful even if someone disagrees with you. calling someone an idiot, or yelling at someone because they chose anon again makes you look immature

 be mature. This is a big one, because a lot of people tend to get whiny and pissy when people disagree with them, and it's even worst  when you get someone who clearly is there to troll you, but if you act mature then guess what, the other person looks like an immature person.

People are bound to disagree with you and you have to get used to that. There will always be someone who will disagree with you or your opinion but guess what if you are running a blog that causes controversy then you will get controversy. 

name calling don't do it. Again this goes with number three, but I felt like I should say.

Do not generalize. The reason being it gives people who ask you questions the right to generalize your blog, your thoughts, ect...It's easy but wrong.

If you are going to talk about feminism and why you are either for or against it, please do everyone a favour and do research. I have seen posts where woman say "I don't need feminism because I like make up." or "I like feeling pretty." or  " I don't hate men." or "I dress how I want." or "I am not weak." Allow me to give you some knowledge, feminism is about equality, and yes first and foremost it's about equality for woman, but it's deals with everyone that includes men. 

 A real feminist doesn't care what you wear, or if you are a stay at home mom, or an office worker, ect; a real feminist cares about equal rights, and as a feminist and someone studying to work with people  However I do take issue with woman saying cat-calling is ok or it is harmless, what maybe harmless for one may not be for another, but then again it's all a personal choice. Feminism is about empowerment to those  who have none and equality to those who are not treated as equals. 

Yes there are feminists who hate men and berate other women for not being feminists but to group them all together is like saying "all Christians are homophobic." and guess what that isn't true. And if a woman who claims to be a feminist and tells you "you have to hate all men." or "men don't get abused." or "only men are sexist/ are all evil." or "you're a house wife, wtf?" or "why are you wearing that/ you're wearing that you must be oppressed." or "woman are naturally better then men"  or "if you don't believe in my view point then you are..." please ignore them, because they show the extreme and angry side and not what feminism truly means in short these feminists are the trolls of feminism trying to get attention. 

I know I won't change every anti-feminist mind, I hope I am giving you something to think about, since we are all rational and mature people,  but I hope that you can become better informed and not generalize all feminist as (insert insult here) and I ask you as a rational thinking person to take some time and do some research (not wiki)  Aslo if it wasn't for feminism then you wouldn't have jobs, you wouldn't be able to vote and you would have no rights. 

If you want to talk about this, go a head, but please be mature about it.
