A Danny phantom headcannon: SMS.
There a lot of things you can do with Danny phantom unexplored world building or lack there is.
Another fav headcannon of mine is SMS— SAVE MY SOUL. It's literally what the name implies. Danny will get very cryptic dreams from souls not yet dead but not truly alive , it is absolutely time sensitive cause these people are in danger trapped something and dying in slow agony.
The dreams he gets from the SMS are clues on how they got into the situation and where they might possibly be. He sees through Thier eyes as the memories unfold in his dreams. It also leaves him shivering when he wakes up cause the experience feels all too real to him.
Where it'd be a hit to the heat, choking or being drugged when Danny wakes up from the dream the phantom pain echoes through his body.
It only lasts exactly a minute though.
The first time this happen Danny thought he was having a nightmare,a girl with fair skin and brown eyes would give him vision of her —trapped , cold and alone being kept by an obsessed stalker. It felt so real, even though he prayed it didn't.
but it became consistent and strangely Valerie was having them too. She theorized it had to do with her constant exposure to ecto-raidiation. In the ghost but not sure if that was the case why didn't tucker or Sam have it either? His parents? Jazz?
That didn't matter for now find the poor girl locked slowly rotting in a cramped room in town did, and so with a team up of him, Valerie,Sam and tucker they were off.
After a bit of investigation, clues from the dream she was showing them and snooping around town for hours.
Danny let out a ghost breath. It wasn't much barely visible but there. And after kicking down an old building down town and breaking down the basement door. They found her.
Delia Ayaan. The girl who haunted both him and Valerie dreams.
She was in critical condition, Danny doesn't even want to remember cause just doing that makes him nausea. The smell, the blood . Her dead, hazy eyes brown eyes.
Ancients, why would someone do this!?!? They took her to the hospital and her stalker was caught and taken to jail.
Abigail is doing wonderful now, the twenty two year old sought out red hunterss and phantom to thank them. Telling them she'd be leaving town, did the same to tucker and Sam too.
Danny hoped that be a one and done experience but it wasn't. It's still prove to a very rare but dreadful occurance.
Why did it happen Danny still not sure . He asked frostbite on it , he told him that it could be another result of the ghost portal opening and it waves / resonance of the ghost zone interfering with those people whose body would have turn into ghost with ghost obsessions but we're still holding on trying to hold on and Thier desperate wishes for help.
But that's just a theory.
What ever the reason Danny will do whatever he can to help before it's really too late.
So, yeah there's so many fun things that could be done. This is just another headcannon of mine .
