Sometimes you’ll meet people who don’t love you as much as you love them. You’ll try everything you can think of to keep them interrested, even changing who you are for what you think they want you to be. Lonely nights wishing they would just reach out to you at all, one-sided texts where you try and pour your heart out in paragraphs and get “k” or “lol” in response hours later, seeing them with other people and feeling so empty you can’t help but cry your eyes out when you’re tucked into bed that night, relying on any type of response from them to turn your mood into a skyrocketing high.

I don’t have some magical answer, something to fix how desperate and hollow you might feel. These kinds of people always leave little tears in our hearts. You let someone who really didn’t deserve it rip their way inside and a little bit of them will always be there. The only thing I can say is that they’re bad for you, you deserve so much more than someone’s free time. But who am i to tell you to stop hoping, right?
