Hey there! I'm Kaz, and I post memes, art, and things my brain comes up with. Mostly Saw things, but I have a LOT of interests. My pronouns are they/he, and I'm fine with being referred to by masculine terms. I have Tourettes, autism, ADHD, and ocd, so I may post about those things.

I feel like I’m one of the only people who doesn’t really ship Leon and Ashley but also doesn’t really see them as siblings. I think they have a relationship that’s complex and can’t really be summed up with a single term.

They’re incredibly close, so much so that “platonic” doesn’t feel quite right, but it’s not exactly “romantic,” but calling them “siblings” would feel weird.

They don’t talk incredibly often, but when they do it’s always a good time. It’s never awkward to resume a conversation even if they haven’t spoken in months.

They’re intrinsically linked. Ashley looks up to Leon and sees him as an inspiration, and Leon is proud of Ashley for the strength she’s demonstrated and how much she’s grown after the kidnapping.

Leon has made Ashley stronger, and Ashley has shown Leon that happiness can still persist in dire circumstances.

They wouldn’t date or marry each other, but they couldn’t imagine life without each other.

I think they should be allowed to have a complicated relationship that isn’t boiled down to “siblings or dating.”

It’s sad seeing people fight over Leon ships because. In my humble opinion?

Pretty much ALL Leon ships are good.

Americans. Know your rights.

The police are legally allowed to lie to you during interrogations. If they are interrogating you, their goal is to get a confession because they already think you’re guilty and they will get it through any means necessary because they’re not interested in hearing anything else.

ALWAYS get an attorney. ALWAYS. Even if you’re innocent. People often assume that since they’re innocent they’ll be fine and they don’t need an attorney. But the police WILL pressure you to give a confession. Sometimes the interrogation will go on so long and be so stressful that you confess to something you didn’t do just to get it to end.

You have the right to NOT answer questions from the police. You have the right to ask for an attorney at ANY time, even if you are not in custody.

Know your rights so that law enforcement can’t abuse your lack of knowledge.

I think it’s important to know that the five stages of grief aren’t always linear. It’s not always denial, anger, bargaining, depression, then acceptance. Sometimes it goes from denial to depression to anger to acceptance to denial again to bargaining to anger to… you get the point. It’s messy and confusing and it fucking sucks. So if you’re experiencing grief in this way, just know that you’re not alone.
