Had a bit of an adventure with getting my blood drawn for the new primary doctor lol first we ended up in the wrong suite bc we misread the paperwork, then when we get to the "right" room, we found out we were in the WRONG BUILDING, which wasn't helped by the fact that not only are both buildings literally right next to each other, but the rooms are both on the 4th floor of their respective buildings, with the one my appt was at being room 490, and the one we ended up in being room 480. The downsides of booking at a medical center/hospital rather than the actual lab building smh but thankfully they still took us as a walk-in since they weren't busy yet, plus it's all connected to the same system anyway lmao

Went to a new primary doctor today bc my old one no longer takes my insurance. And. You know how they have those little questionnaire things to assess your mental health? Yeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh I had a fun time telling my mother what to put. Was actually a bit real with her, even at the question asking if I've had thoughts of no longer existing. Though that led to me having to repeatedly tell her that it's okay to get help for mental health problems. That it's okay to not be okay.

As glad as I am that the government decided to stop the clock change that is daylight savings, I wish they had waited until AFTER we moved backwards in November before voting on it. That way a lot of the other states won't have to deal with a sunrise that happens at like 10am. Plus it won't fuck up people's circadian rhythms.

Now let's see if this'll even last. Because iirc they did a 2 year test run of this very thing back in 1974 and it didn't work out as well as they'd hoped.

Saw my retina doctor today and things are still good, for the most part. There's a liiiiittle bit of scar tissue forming in the center of my eye, and she thinks there might be something going on with my cornea, but it's too early to really tell, so I go back in November for a reassessment. Yeehaw.
