I stuffed my neck from over doing my Boxing training, we have started a new project at our apartment to keep ourselves busy while in country, loads of kids turned up to a birthday party - there aren't usually this many on our compound - and a dog came to visit - the kids loved it once they were shown how to pat him, most adults kept their distance. #tbt on a Wednesday cos that's how I roll. Very impressed with the young woman who served me today at STC. It's nice to see how far Saudi has come with women in the workplace. There was a time not long ago when there was no point going to the ladies section for anything because they would always have to defer your query to the men's section. Today was a confident young lady who knew exactly what she was doing. Some people might think such service is nothing to crow about. A bit pissed off with our new compound manager today for taking the only space available to non-smoking compound residents and giving it over to smoking tenants and guests. When the smokers already have quite a large area to smoke that being the upstairs cafe area and outside. His reasoning is its too cold and wet outside for the smoking guests. As paying tenants, that isn't our problem, is it? I feel like my tenant right to freeky access non-smoking areas and facilties is being eroded. And don't tell me to move. I've lived here for nearly seven years and like the compound. The new back hander deals these two are arranging among themselves though.
