Branch loses every one of his siblings in a very short span of time, including his mother.

His mother and Dusty were the first to go, at least they were together when it happened, it made Dusty less scared.

Afternoon nap

Dusty was born the day Branch was rushed to the hospital, he stayed there for just a little over a week before coming home and discovering he had a little sister.

The family had been nervous to introduce her to Branch, especially after all that had happened leading up to the accident.

But a mere few minutes later they found the two snuggled together during their afternoon nap, and from then on, he always stuck by his little sisters side

I just feel bad for the person who's account very obviously got hacked, I hope they get their account back somehow

Patient promise

Human patient

Trans borrower (also patient & very closeted)

The borrowers of this hospital only come out if the patient is terminally ill or dying, it usually makes it easier to slip by.

The human patient is moved to a very small hospital, where he one sudden day comes into contact with a borrower. He barely manages to catch them, freaking them both out that the tiny human in their hands is real and that said tiny human got caught by someone who’s supposed to be very weak and slow at the moment.

They both start talking, they both bond over many vague concepts such as “not feeling like you belong” and human books.

He’s head over heels.

She suspects he’s not terminally ill and keeps emotional and physical distance, hoping that when he does leave it’ll be less painful.

He knows she will leave once he starts recovering, making him dread treatment and sometimes even briefly refusing it.

Yet he will inevitably recover, meaning they part.

He never forgets “him” and becomes a doctor, eventually working in the same hospital and same ward, always keeping an eye open for any borrower.

Can I give Emil/Amber a hug? I feel bad for them

Amber would usually never dare touch another person, but when it’s dim and Victor isn’t around to cause the human stress, Amber would not struggle if lifted, even getting comfortable in your arms.

He might cry a little when he realizes just how much he has missed this.

How did Victor look and acted like when he was cruel? I wanna know what Amber witnessed

There are many, many examples of Victors cruelty, most of which are to briefly quell his own boredom. He'd usually search for something that gave him an emotional reaction, not that he ever even understood what emotions he felt, only that they were triggered.

Amber already was a very emotional person, even when he tried to pretend everything was fine or mask how he truly felt (with the exception of love since Victor never had a clear example what that was supposed to look like.)

Genuine question: Why are people so afraid of furries? I've seen hundreds of different fandoms

All have their good and bad sides (though unfortunately the bad side is usually louder)

But the furry community is known for being rather supportive and open-minded, so why are so many people icked out by them?
