The price of wealth and prosperity ~ [ instagram ] ~ no reposting ~ I actually love Uther as a character, I mean, yes, he is such a cruel person and kinda a bad father to Arthur but like, I won’t accept that he is like that only because Arthur’s mother died because of magic. ?? Imagine what kind of a person he was when he was young, what kinds of things and adventures he did with Gaius and his knights and what were his parents like, what did he learn from them and from the people who no longer exist in Arthur’s time? Could it be that he grew to be an adult in a wrong way because of his past, and it made him that cold?? And that he actually just tries to protect Arthur and what he has created but can’t see that he is doing it wrongly, because he has learned those things as he grew up and is later kinda stuck in it, in his head?

The way he acts is not acceptable, he is cruel and unsympathetic but... no one is born that way (except like, psychopaths but--). I have just imagined all kinds of things of Uther’s past and thought about psychology stuff and that might be the reason I actually like him in the series, and freak people out when I say he’s actually cool kjdrgjdjkjfahg
