Your hands… now that I hold them within my own, I see how small and fragile they are. These hands that have saved me countless times… Thank you, my beloved. Your kind, warm hands… May they cling to my own forevermore…

Can you make like a little color picking tutorial, my drawings always look so out of place when i color them >.<
Okay so this is probably not the best coloring tutorial and I’m sorry ahead of time because I’m not the best at explaining colors nor am I any expert lol. I don’t actually use color palettes but I highly recommend them, esp to keep a whole artwork consistent with color schemes. You can easily just google “aesthetic color palettes” or “90′s anime color palettes” which is my go to types of colors heh.
Anyway, I made an explanation/tutorial on how I usually achieve the colors on my art. There are plenty of other ways but this is some basics on filtering.
And after that, if I’m not satisfied with the colors I just go to Filter -> and adjust the Hue of the opacity or the multiply layer.
Once I’m satisfied, I just merge all the layers and clean the art up, sometimes I add even more colors and blend them. (This probably deserves an explanation on it’s own but I wouldn’t mind explaining how I paint! ><)
And here’s somewhat of the finished art lol;;; (sweats)

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes (Ending) // Anakin & Padmé
For those of you who haven’t played this game, here’s the majority of the A/P content which also serves as a finale to the game. Republic Heroes came out in 2009 and is available on Wii, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo. I actually own this game on Wii but I’m ashamed to say I still haven’t played it yet. ^^; I’m hoping to try it on the PS3 first.
And here’s the YouTube video of all the cut-scenes together, for which I used.
So here’s a preview of the phone cases I was trying to make 😂🌸💖💖 eee so pretty! (Tbh i just wanted my own sasusaku case aha–)
Naoki Urasawa’s Manben
If you haven’t watched Naoki Urasawa’s Manben Go watch it now!..well if you are into manga or comics and want to see the process, tools and lives of famous Japanese manga creators in a documentary style program exploring all that then you’ll surely like Manben!
The series is hosted by Naoki Urasawa who is the mastermind behind a body of work that includes masterpieces like : 20th Century Boys, Monster, Pluto, Billy Bat and more. I’m a huge fan if you haven’t noticed, however, it’s not just about him..it’s got so many different flavors and inputs and I really enjoyed it and learnt (learning still) a lot from it.
I recommend that you looks it up and watch it if you like what you read.. and I’ll put links to what I found on the interwebs .so if it doesn’t work or if it violates any rights please let me know and I’ll fix it/remove it. (it’s still ongoing so there will be more in the future..like this month of September!..and I don’t want it to stop! :D) But first..some pictures:
Second comes the English dubbed episodes that I found that I’m not sure about sharing them..let me know if there is other sources that should be here instead or where to buy them..etc Urasawa Naoki Manben S0E0 - Kawaguchi Kaiji & Yamashita Kazumi
Urasawa Naoki S1E1 2015 - Higashimura Akiko
Urasawa Naoki S1E2 2015 - Fujita Kazuhiro
Urasawa Naoki S1E3 2015 - Asano Inio
Urasawa Naoki S1E4 2015 - Saito Takao
Urasawa Naoki S2E1 2016 - Hagio Moto
Urasawa Naoki S2E2 2016 - Hanazawa Kengo
Urasawa Naoki S2E3 2016 - Igarashi Daisuke

how do you do your art? your digital art? like what materials do I need? please? I want to start making my own comics and I also want to make some characters of my own #Anonymous67
Hello anon! I’m happy that you would come to me for some advice even though I may not be the best :O
First, I always use Paint Tool Sai for my digital work :) I really like the look and feel of it, and there’s a lot of awesome tutorials.
My digital art process goes like this:
1. Draw it out on paper first (there are rare occasions that I will just draw straight into Sai with my tablet). This has always felt the most natural to me as far as getting my proportions down and all that jazz.
2. Take a picture and put it into sai
3. Line-art- I use the marker tool for this
4. color/shading/special affects - I use the pencil tool
For the table I use, it’s Wacom!
I also don’t mind uploading a process post if anyone is curious!
