Oh they definitely want him dead, they will try to tear his spark out of his body. They will do everything in their power to kill him and they do end up in a fight to the death (This will tie into Jetfire's seeker encounter later). Skywarp is especially pissed-- I HAD THIS DIALOGUE IN MIND FOR THEM though things are still cooking

I just wanted to gather all of the little things in the tf g1 cartoon production that really made me ship Thundercracker and Skyfire in one place

This was the main thing, you can find this in the show production bible on the tfarchive website, where TC helps Jetfire destroy the crystal of power, we don't know if "turns away" from the Decepticons was permanent but Thundercracker having doubts about the decepticons is mentioned in literally all of his production bios and it would have been a really good way to sell more toys

A little interesting thing here is that this early description for Starscream was changed to be Thundercrackers in later drafts

Here is the dreamwave bio of him, dreamwave had a series of books where it was just bios of all of the characters and many of it seems to take inspiration from the sunbow cartoon notes, they added some extra stuff to his bio where he got personal attention from Megatron

His quote being "the deadliest weapon is terror" and his weakness being his fear of Megatron?? Insane potential for angst here

But yeah its just the hints that maybe there was a possibility that the g1 cartoon series might have had actual character development with Thundercracker and Jetfire, the foundations were there!! Thundercrackers other weakness was harming innocent human lives he could have had redemption

They could have both grown to love the earth together!!! Although not a lot of this was in the show itself, just the possibilities...

Hello! I'm sorry if you don't accept these kinds of asks please just ignore me, but may I ask if you remember a fic like this? I seem to vaguely remember reading something like this but can't find it anymore lol.

So it follows Starscream as the main character and was kind of angsty, and the story was something like this:

Thundercracker and Skywarp ask Starscream to break the trinebond with them because the war is over and they don't actually like him that much or other reasons and they want to live peacefully without him being there. Starscream doesn't like that (the idea of being alone? Or maybe he just doesn't want to) and he rejects that. After a few persuasions (maybe Star does a bit of introspection? Or they just pester him quite a bit?) He reluctantly accepts.

Then they sit in a circle (I could misremember this one from a different fic) and the scene changes to a mind-scape thing (I do remember this one). Star convinces his mind-self (kind of like the personalization of himself) to let go of the bond. Mind-Star was small I think, maybe a child? He hold the bond in both of his hands (purple and blue ribbon each). Star coaxes Mind-Star to let the ribbons go (it's pretty sad I seem to recall). They hugged doing it, and I think I cried there lol. I don't remember anything after that.
