POV you’re Reiko and regularly go to the brothel to get positive affirmations

It’s just genuinely so sad how Reiko was turned into a machine and how any humanity was stripped off him at a young age already, and how that connects him with workers at the brothel in some way. Their professions are inherently different and they are potentially both passionate about what they are doing but still - the system is flawed and concerning because... is passion worth it, is passion enough for you to be happy when deep down you know your body is exploited?

It's kind of like how I HC Shang Tsung's backstory, they all fought their way through but instead of receiving comfort their flaws and their physical abilities get elevated by corrupt benefactors and they don't know a life without that manipulation and you just can't help but hope that somehow they find back to their human side one day, but it might be too late for that...

About Reiko and the person in the art:

To imagine that these two get a chance to explore a side of themselves that has been repressed for years as the factors of their lives reshaped them.. which is essentially genuine love and appreciation of each other - as initially they just want to use each others bodies, something they are so used to and something that feels normal for them, as a soldier and as a worker. But seeing your reflection within the other makes you realize things, you feel sorry and vulnerable and you start projecting and connecting and you become eager to explore what else may lie beneath your physical abilities... Are you capable of care? Of affection? Of understanding?
