Headcannons about a smartass S/O with Jade, Liu Kang, Mileena, Kabal, Skarlet and Cassie?
Likes reading books. (Kinda obvious eh?)
Knows a lot about Earthrealm history.
So how would their lover act/react:
S/O wants to give them a book to read? (giving a book to a bottom-feeder like Kabal??)
S/O talking about their history knowladge, giving them some of their knowladge? (Could be interesting since Jade, Skarlet and Mileena aren't from Earthrealm)

Jade loves to read especially if it’s about history or an interesting novel, She still read books, even when she was Shao Kahn’s assassin. She reads to busy herself and kill the bordem.
She likes history, and she reads history books in Shao Khan’s library, but it is usually Ermac there and she doesn’t want to be with him, she is kind of annoyed, Afraid of him, or even worst, she doesn’t want him to read her thoughts since he is a telepath.
So, Jade grabs the history book and leave to read it in her room. She loves to learn either by reading a book or by some of her friends telling her their knowledge, Stories, etc.
But, She also learned not to believe anything she hears, so she trusted books, she trust them and they are a reliable source in Outworld.
Once she met her S/O, they are very clever, Smart, Loves to read just like her. What shocked her the most is that her S/O is from Earthrealm.
She thought that earthrealmers are stupid and naive, But as there is an exception to every rule, her S/O is a senior in college, and they love to read books about history, philosophy, and even science.
Once they told jade about WW1 and WW2 and the horrors of them, what happened to people in that time and such, Jade was horrified to know this, as her S/O when he once read about them. The victims and the casualties are just too much.
Jade wonders if earthrealm suffered more than edenia or if both are equal in suffering. She asks her S/O for more of these events, and they told her of other wars/calamities, Like Civil wars, Invasions, and such. Every battle is much scarier and more horrific than the last one.
Jade asks if she can borrow her S/O history book about Earthrealm and they agreed to it.
Jade was horrified yet continued to read about Earthrealm's history Since she is an edenian who was born thousands of years ago, she thought about what could’ve happened if she left edenia and went to Earthrealm what war or calamity she would witness?
She doesn’t know for sure, But, It would be better than living under Shao Kahn’s rule for sure.
Her S/O thought that Jade wouldn’t continue reading this book, But Her S/O is surprised when Jade finished reading the whole book and asks to borrow another book.
Her S/O gave her a book of science, and Jade enjoyed reading it and finished it too, Her S/O didn’t anticipate that Jade would read science because they thought it would be boring for her, her S/O gave her a book of philosophy, “Philosophy of Plato”
Surprisingly! Jade enjoyed reading the book, she learned new things! The philosophy of earthrealmers is indeed smart and fun to learn!
Liu likes to read in his free time, he reads about Chinese philosophy, Chinese history, and such.
But mostly, he focuses on training his body and his mind.
When he met his S/O, Liu is fascinated by his S/O's knowledge, His S/O knows so much about history and what happened in the past, Like wars, etc, His S/O even told him about phenomenal things like the Aurora lights and tornado.
His S/O encourages him to read more and learn more, So that’s what will Liu do, He started to read more, Gaining more knowledge about the universe and such.
He is just impressed by his S/O, His S/O even encourages him by letting him borrow their books and reading them all, one by one.
Liu isn’t a bookworm but he loves to read, If not regularly, He learns so much from books. Much like most classic kombatants he dislikes technology.
It is known that Mileena is not keen on reading, she considers it boring and a waste of time, unlike most royalties, She doesn’t like reading, but she will learn in a fun, interesting way. When her S/O told her of books, she groans in annoyance.
But her S/O discovered a way of letting her learn or read, For Example, Her S/O taught her how to read, and she likes it considering it is useful for her, Her S/O gives her small books of their design as a new way to let her learn, in each 10 page she reads she will find a treat either sweets or mini meat pie wrapped in plastic wraps.
This makes her enjoy reading books, either history or fiction. Her S/O is very proud of themselves for making her enjoy reading.
Mileena loves comic books, Fiction, they are her favourites! Well, because mostly, they have treats in them, LOL 😆.
I think Kabal's favourite books are comic books! Especially if they talk about horror characters or cryptid-core (such as me), Horror comics such as slashers, and gorey stuff!
He kept bored when he sees his S/O read books on history, philosophy, and science. He teasingly calls them bookworms. They don’t like it at all.
Once, Kabal asked himself to try to read a history book or philosophy one, but he chose to read history, it was better for him, He read a book called “History of mafias”
It majorly talks about the mafias of the world, Italian ones, Chinese ones, and such, He was bitterly disappointed that the book didn’t mention anything of the black dragon or red dragon, or even the Lin-Kuei. But he learned something useful himself. About mafias!

I think everybody knows that Skarlet loves history, and that is, because of the bloody people who killed other people in the bloodiest of ways, such as Elizabeth Bathory the Vampiress Queen of Hungary, this bloodthirsty woman who has a taste for the blood of the little girls who are unfortunate enough to work for her in the palace, Skarlet know about this historical figure and she felt a connection to her, why not? Both love blood and such.
But in Skarlet’s case, it is different, Skarlet uses blood to sustain herself, while that Crone uses blood to “regenerate” her youth. Which Skarlet finds it stupid.
Another figure skarlet loves is Dracula! No, No not Films/movies Dracula, Not this Dracula🧛♂️, it is Vlad the impaler! The real Dracula! Skarlet loves this historical figure so much due to his connection with blood.
It’s safe to say that Skarlet loves historical figures whose legacies are connected to blood, Blood rituals, and such, Skarlet DOES has more than a thing for blood.
Cassie LOVES history! And I have proof remember her intro with Geras?
“You remind me of someone” Geras intro, Cassie replied “Helen of troy?” So, this is a proof that she knows something or two about history, Yep, Much like skarlet, Cassie is a history books lover!
When her S/O came into her life, she loves history books even more, so, she started to read more of more.
Her S/O Gave her books about “The life of Helen of troy” which made Cassie squeal in happiness and read them all!
She loves to read about the Helen of troy, The women's role in wars and politics stuff, She is just a proud woman of the woman's roles in the past, and she swore one day that she will make a legacy like those women, her name will be on every tongue, and she will be as much as famous in the future! Most importantly, she will make her family, the cage family proud of her!
