Some mystery fuels their steps.
dishonored~~~
Even if Dunwall burns to the ground, one corner of the Empire will still know your story. Daud, killer of an Empress. Daud, who spared his betrayer’s life.
Recent sketches of Daud and a bunch of whalers
hot man!
Dishonored 2 + Daud
“Exiled from the city on pain of death at the hands of the Royal Protector, Corvo Attano, Daud had run. He’d got as far from Dunwall - from Gristol hitself - as he could. He went to Morley, where he lasted a year in Caulkenny before getting tired of being around people. He went to Tyvia, settling not in Dabokva or Tamarak but heading inland, skirting the tundra and finally settling outside a willage near Pradym, in the barren northern territories. There he build his own shack and spent the days harvesting lumber and the nights carving the endless cords of chopped wood into intricate animal forms: bears, wolves, owls. He was especially fond of carving owls.
His hair and beard grew long and he spent six years avoiding the curious residents of the village as much as he could.” - The return of Daud
make me choose → hossbergs asked: daud or the outsider
“I remember bending at the shrines, listening as the Outsider whispered that I was going to change things, that I was somehow important. It felt good, made me believe I was powerful.”
A surprise attack
Drew some Dauds for my werewolf!au to go along with my Corvo one. Mostly I just kinda… wanted to draw him in the black, buckled shirt we see in his DH1 concept art, I’m not really sure why they ditched that look for Daudo so I decided a young Daud would wear something similar, before picking up the Whalers and forming his pack. It also just…gave me an excuse to draw Daud…
Anyway, I love my #1 Knife Dad.
