Holidays with Edward
He is a traditional man and it would take a lot to break with whatever tradition his family has, even those of his S/O. The holidays are about unity, giving back and the warmth of your loved ones therefore he would want to incorporate whatever traditions you may have told him about.
No matter how small or brief in passing he will remember your traditions, be it celebrating Christmas Eve and sleeping in on Christmas day, or even something as silly as everyone in your family wearing matching colors.
Everyone in his household receives a present that he’s probably been thinking about since October. Meticulously picked and carefully wrapped. He doesn’t expect one in return, the smile he sees on everyone’s face, especially yours and Elizabeth, is all he needs.
The morning and early afternoon would be dedicated to you. Breakfast in the garden, away from the ongoings of the house and a light lunch outside, indulging in extra snacks. A knight has to be in tip top shape, but tis the season and if you wanted to try every pastry on the menu he would definitely go halfsies for you.
Once night falls and everyone has left from the evening festivities, smiles on their faces and slightly drunk, he’d insist you stay in one of the spare rooms of his family home. Which doesn’t happen, you end up aggressively cuddling him in his own bed. He’s out like a light with that.
