i haven’t seen any star wars but I’m very intrigued by your bobadin art and I understand the basic premise/the story so where should I start if I want to get the most out of it?

so most of my folie à deux au (fadau) takes place before/during return of the jedi (mostly just the first 40 or so minutes when they're on Tatooine) so that's probably your best starting point for immediate setting+context. more specifically for the characters:

Boba Fett first starts playing an important film role in the latter half of the empire strikes back, which establishes why Han Solo is a wall decoration in need of rescue. i also pull a bit of events from some of the star wars comic books, but they're less plot-vital and more for added flavoring and off hand comments.

Din first appears in -and is the titular mandalorian from- the "The Mandalorian" tv series. fad takes place before it by enough time that most of the context from it isn't super essential, with the exception of the first episode of season 2. that's where the character Cobb Vanth comes from, and there's a flashback sequence during that ep that i'm eventually going to incorporate events from :3
