I’m SO done with people defending Lexa and attacking Bellamy all the time.

All I read is “Bellamy indirectly kills 300 people and it’s okay, but Lexa decides to save all her people by giving up 50 and everyone insults her”.

First of all, Bellamy “killing” those people happened in 1x05. Besides, he didn’t know that 300 people were going to be killed that day, he did it so that they couldn’t contact The Ark. I’m not saying it was right, but he wasn’t aware of what would happen to those people and when he knew, he helped to find the radio.

And yes, he’s done other things wrong, as everyone in this show, but what about all the good things he’s done? Bellamy’s character development is without any doubt not just the best of the show but one of the best of all the shows I’ve watched. Bellamy starts caring about no one but Octavia and ends up caring about EVERYONE. He sacrifices himself at the end of season 1 so that they could close the dropship and sacrifices himself again in season 2 getting in Mount Weather and risking his life on many occasions, and this wasn’t for Octavia because she was not in the dropship and she was not in Mount Weather, he did it to save his people.

And Lexa? What has she done? To me, the only good thing she’s done was letting Jaha and Marcus live. Yes, maybe she made a logical decision when she broke de alliance to save her people, but the girl who abandoned the skypeople when they were taking Mount Weather to save her people, is the same one who let a missile kill hundreds of grounders instead of warning them and killing the shooter later without risking Bellamy’s mission, the same one who killed her right-hand man and the one who broke that grounder’s leg so that she and Clarke could escape from the gorilla. 

Moreover, that war was won. They got to open the door and Bellamy had freed the grounder prisoners, oh, and let’s not forget that they were WAY MORE grounders and skypeople than mountain men, the resistance would have been insignificant. The only thing they had to do was get in and get them out, that fucking war was WON. Lexa’s done nothing but being a bad influence on Clarke and betraying not just her but all the skypeople, when we all know that if it wasn’t for them and their brilliant strategy, the grounders would still be in those cages.

And if it wasn’t for her betrayal, Bellamy and Clarke wouldn’t have had to irradiate level 5 and almost no one would have died, just saying.

And no, I’m not homophobic and this has nothing to do with the fact that I ship Bellarke, it’s just I’m done with people glorifying Lexa and underrating Bellamy without coherence. I’m not saying Lexa is not a GREAT character because she is, but saying that she’s so good and Bellamy is so mean, it just doesn’t make any sense. 

I really hope I didn’t offend anyone with this, I don’t want to start arguing with anyone and I totally respect other people’s opinion, I just wanted to give mine because I’m tired of all this current Bellamy hate.
