Look at him and tell me he's not giving manhwa crown prince vibes. His name ‘Phainon’ is likely referencing Phaenon [meaning ‘shining’ or ‘bright’] who in Greek mythology is the sky god of the star of Chronus [Saturn]. Though, his Chinese name apparently means ‘white disaster’.

His design reminds of Gilgamesh [Fate Series] and I think he's based on Deimos, who in Greek mythology is the personification of fear — or more specifically, the dread that besieges people before a battle. As he's introduced as ‘Mydeimos’.

Anaxa seems to be directly referencing the pre-socratic Greek philosopher Anaxagoras. Anaxagoras introduced the concept of Nous (Cosmic Mind) as an ordering force. He deduced a correct explanation for eclipses and speculated that the sun might just be another star. He was also charged and exiled for impiety and Anaxa's intro says “the scholar inquires about the prophecy and disrespects the gods”.
