Wtf is the Utena Movie????

It started out with basically a recreation of the first arc from the series but then as they give Utena her own elevator scene (as an extremely abridged version of the black rose arc but with her new backstory of Touga being a ghost of her past prince)

But then it somehow even go even more off the rails with Anthy witnessing Utena turn into a fucking car ! And after chase after chase she turns into a motorcycle and they kill the prince and then both turn into real people and they ride a real motorcycle together while they makeout and drive off into the unknown.

It was extremely awesome while also way more surreal and confusing of an experience!!! Like what did I just wittiness?

I have concluded that this is Utenas fucked up alternative reality dreamscape that she entered after getting into a coma during her hospitalization post series. Anthy after finding Utena, is now uses her powers to incept herself into her coma dream and now be the one to save her.

The ending is both of them waking up now on equal footing with each other ready to form their own path together.
