could you explain the different types of kei? like i know what fairy kei is, but what's the difference between that and mahou kei or spank ? sorry if youve already been asked this, if youve already answered it do you think you could link me? :o

Fairy Kei - 99.99% pastel, often involving tutus and cute motifs.

Spank! Kei - Basically fairy kei’s older sister, a lot more lax and involves more black. Can also be more casual. Originated from the brand Spank!

Mahou Kei - A lot more OTT, often involves sweet lolita and always includes magical girl motifs. Usually pastels~
