sometimes when im reading bat comics i think to myself 'batman wouldnt say that'. this is terrible characterization. but then again he goes and says that in a lot of comics. so maybe he would say that.

bruce and minhkhoa both having an empty hole inside them and dealing with crushing loneliness, but while bruce is able to fill it up by devoting himself solely to gotham. the only thing that minhkhoa was ever able to find that would satisfy him was bruce

the batfamily is really fun. bruce will be dying somewhere or stuck in the past or an alternate dimension. someone reaches out to save him and they will get some words of thanks and then be like this was worth it, im glad you are alive and back home <3 but also why did you do this, why do you not say anything ever, why are you the way you are, how did this happen. why what and how bruce.
bruces response to that is that gotham needs me and the mission. and then he leaves to go psychologically torture himself. immediately after he is saved he will also be told that everything was better when he was gone. and then they dont speak for weeks

Yeahhhh you get it!!! I agree with all your points. In addition, I think people focus way too much in the succession of the Batman "mantle" like it absolutely HAS to be passed down or whatever. Batman Inc., and the existence of Jace Fox (who I like!!!) has shown that DC is fine with multiple Batmen existing at the same time anyway, I don't see why people have such a narrow view on how timelines and characters can be progressed.
Not that I hate Cass, Damian, or Dick; the three often touted as the most "suitable successors" for Batman in a lot of fan spaces (they're my joint favourites below Bruce himself lol), I just want it to be interesting. If Bruce must die or whatever, have them turn the Batman "mantle" into their own thing overtime as they have to settle into that role. I think this would work great especially for Cass or Damian (DC KO showed Damian do very well as Batman, even though it was just an illusion based off of Bruce's thoughts. Why not push it a little further?) Reinvent "Batman" instead of just having Batman again! It'd be so fun if DC did that way! Also, I think it'd partly solve the problem of "Batman fatigue" that has been plaguing comics and comic-related media for a while.
Unfortunately, I just can't see DC doing that because at the end of the day they're a company who want to stay as safe as possible to not make any financial risks, and that includes upending the status quo like that (or by slowing down the production of Bat-related media which would help with the aforementioned Bat fatigue but I can't see that happening unless a shake up happens at DC either). So instead, I'd rather they just develop the structure of the Batfamily in relation to Bruce. Make things a little less centralised and stop trying to force what is clearly not supposed to be a nuclear family unit into the shape of one, give us more solos for each character to do their own thing sometimes (LIKE DUKE THOMAS!!!!!!!!), stop giving the mainline Batman to writers who dislike certain members of the Batfamily and ruin the development of that character and those around them for no reason other than petty hatred. Like Matt Fraction. And stop giving mainline Batman comics to writers who can't write. Like Matt Fraction. And so on.
TL;DR like others have said, they should keep making Batman stories for the next 300 years, Bruce is so awesome. Also fuck Matt Fraction.

i think the main problem with bat fatigue like you mention is dc not making stories for others. wonder woman fans are starving and in the trenches while bat fans get multiple issues. <- WHICH!!! many aren't even good/push strange agendas with bad writing for the purpose of easy money.
i havent read more than like 2 issues of jace fox so i cant really speak on him or his character/history other than basics. but
i don't partially like the two batman thing. sorry anon... i want batman to only exist as bruce wayne which is greedy of me so im sorry jace fox. i have seen your great aura and i dont like it
i do like the batfamily to some extent when they are written well. which i actually dont think ive ever read a comic that had good writing for everyone/included everyone. i see the potential though and that's what matters....
i do understand would be incredible difficult to actually create good bat family comics because you need problems to create an intresting story. which means some sacrifice has to made for the intelligence and dynamics of all the members. also
personally i don't think that some of the bat members should get along. and it goes against their character if they actually were on good terms. but they DO get along in canon unfortunately and that creates very flimsy writing imo
i think they make many of the members be too mentally stable when they are in a comic together which makes the dynamics be a nothingburger.
