Can u do a scenario on kankuro and how temari / gaara blurted out that he has a crush on someone
The lesson had been going smoothly, Kankuro had just shown Y/N the basics of chakra strings, and they were even starting to move the small wooden puppet on the coffee table by themselves. Granted, it was made for little kids, but baby steps were necessary, especially considering Y/Nās lesson had started about 15 minutes ago.
Kankuro had only agreed to teach Y/N about puppetry for one reason, and one reason only: he thought they were gorgeous, and they only became more gorgeous to him when he found out that they were interested in his craft. The conversation had gone something like this: āHey, Kankuro, will you show me how to -ā āYES.ā
Everything was going to plan, Y/N seemed to be enjoying themselves, as well as picking up on the basics rather quickly, and Kankuro had yet to dissolve into a stumbling mess the way that he normally did around them. Yes, everything was going to plan, until Temari happened to come home early from her training, one of her annoying friends in tow. The door slammed open, and their loud giggles replaced the soothing, quiet atmosphere that Kankuro had tried so hard to maintain: making sure that his siblings were to be busy for the entire day, and even telling his advisors and assistants not to bother him for the whole day unless something major was happening in Suna.
He had mainly been worried about Gaara, because, try as he might, not everyone had taken to liking the newly elected Kazekage quite yet, and it was a topic of conversation Kankuro had yet to breach with Y/N. However, because of this, he had taken less consideration than he should have when it came to Temari.
āOh, hey Kankuro, weāre just stopping by to grab my purse for some lunch, weāre going out to eat if you want to- oh!ā She paused, eyeing Y/N mischievously. āI didnāt know you were busy.ā She said, turning her smirk from Y/N to Kankuro, before quickly turning to her friend. āAnd to think, my own brother didnāt tell me that he had finally gotten the nerve to ask his crush out! The nerve!ā The pair laughed and smirked at Kankuro again, grabbing Temariās purse off the counter, shouting goodbye to Kankuro and Y/N as they slammed the door behind them, their laughter able to be heard from the other side of it as they resumed their chatter.
Meanwhile, inside the living room, it was deadly quiet, until Y/N broke the silence. āWell, thatās a relief.ā
āWhat?ā Kankuroās eyes shot up to meet theirs.
āI was beginning to think my feelings were one-sided.ā Y/N said with a small smile, before standing up and pulling Kankuro to his feet. āHow about we go out for our own lunch date?ā
It wasnāt until Y/N had dragged him out the front door that Kankuro blinked and said, āYou have feelings for me?ā
