An Au where The Amazing Digital Circus cast are just actors in the indie entertainment industry. Always fighting to get attention and seen but overshadowed by Hollywood and big companies. Until the day their show finally breaks down the walls.
I planned this au for years now and wanted to wait for the seris to be over to release it. Like a behind the scenes situation. And I wanted to show a sneak peak to one of chapters.
@sorascribbless Here, take a sneak peek at what I'm making for the actor au. I can't wait to finally release everything. Yes it's Showtime to help you heal.

“I can't.” Her voice was firm and strong. Making sure he understood her words.
“What? Why?” Caine threw his hands in the air. One hand clutching a script to what looked like a big time film. His wife just rolled her eyes and shook her head. She loved him, a lot. But he can be oblivious at times.
“I won't ride on your fame, Caine. I can get a role by myself.” She explained and looked at him with understanding. Blue and red eyes just as kind as ever. Caine gave a mumble and lowered his arms. Looking at the script he held.
“You're sure Pomni? This can be your big break. This film is a guaranteed success.” The man tried to persuade her. She just shook her head with a smile and reached for the script. Gently placing it down on the night stand besides their bed.
“Caine, I don't want to use you.” Pomni made it clear again. Her eyes drifted back to the cartoony character, “I will never use you. You don't have to go studio to studio and use your name as a way to get me scripts. I want a role that's mine and mine alone.”
“But Pomni!” Caine stood up from the bed and looked down at her with worried eyes. He looked desperate, almost like he's holding in more than he should. Pommi shook her head again and sat up from the bed as well. Walking into the closet and picking out a night gown.
“No buts about this Caine.”
“I'm not……. It's just…… ” Caine stuttered on his words longer than he should've. Fidgeting with his hands and tugging at his fingers. His feet kicked the carpet below lightly, “Pomni, that last audition was yours!”
Pomni froze a bit at the reminder. She shook it off before closing the closet door and shut herself in.
“Clearly the director thought differently.” Pomni told him through the door. The sound of her clothes rustled.
“Stupid egotistical son of a……” Cain groaned before finishing his words. He shut his mouth for a head tight. His jaw clenched, almost shaking, “It's not fair. You nailed the audition, you got the role, you showed up on the first day and did so well. All because the director's cousin's wife is some top model, they stripped that role out of your hands and gave it to her.”
“That's show business.” Pomni sighed. The sound of her looking through more night gowns was heard, “Some people just get roles through connections.”
“That's my point!” Caine cried out with worry and heartbreak, “If these people can get their spouses, friends and family roles to top films and shows. Why can't I do that for you? Any studio will be honored to have my wife in their film.”
“That's just it.” Pomni opened the door, trying to tie her black hair into a bun with a ribbon. Her lavender night gown to the floor and her feet barely peaking out, “I don't want them to see me as just your wife. I want them to see me for the actor I am.”
She smiled and turned to look at Caine. The man looked both upset but understanding. His eyes wandered on her for a moment before he looked away with a huff. Arms crossed and jaws shut tight.
“Well, they're idiots.” Caine commented, “Can't spot beauty and talent even when it's right in their faces!”
Pomni just smiled at his action before she sat down at the vanity desk. She looked around at all her things Caine had ever gifted her. Jewelry dangling from the small hooks on her white desk. Rings inside tiny drawers of the jewelry box. And many ribbons displayed on the side of the mirror. She sighed quietly before relaxing her arms. Letting her hair fall back down on her back. Spilling past her shoulders. She tucked her hair behind her nonexistent ears and looked at Caine through her mirror.
“I appreciate the thought though.” She broke the silence. Caine flinched a bit, jaw still closed tight. But his arms loosened and shoulders relaxed.
“She wasn't even a 10.” Caine commented about the lady that took Pomin's role. The woman chuckled and turned to look at him. Her arms resting on the back of her chair.
“She was a porcelain doll.” Pomni commented, knowing how Caine would react.
“So are you!” Caine looked at his wife, eyes soft and adoring her, “You're just as, if not even more beautiful than that woman! You deserved that role. The chance to be seen on the big screen. But no! Big name man brings his wife in and takes the role……”
Pomni couldn't help but giggle.
The rest of the story will start soon.
