“Let’s” in Korean
-자 is the informal way of saying “let’s.” All of the examples are also informal and should not be used in formal situations.
Conjugation:
First drop -다 from the verb, then add -자 to the verb stem. For example, to say “let’s eat”, remove -다 from 먹다, then add -자. You will get 먹자.

A note (more like my linguistic rambling): By saying this, I don’t want to criticize Namjoon or anyone else, but the whole transcription system of Korean which is in my opinion a mess™ and I don’t like using transcription if I can avoid it.
So to get to my point! Seoul. In Korean it would be written as 서울. According to the revised romanization (transcription) of the Korean Ministry of Culture and Tourism, you would write it as Seoul. There is not that many problems with this name except for the 어. How do foreigners know how to read “eo”. In the McCune-Reishauer transcription that was used before the revision (and that is still used in the academic circles), it would be written using ŏ, Sŏul. Of course, a foreigher would have no idea what to make up of this symbol either but it would be maybe a bit closer to the actual 어 sound.
When Joon says “why do you sound so similar to (the English word) ‘soul’, do you have a soul or something?”… It made me think that Korean probably don’t really think about the romanization and just accept it as it is. I’m not saying they should start using the old one, just that I am so used to the McCune-Reishauer one or just hangul that the English transcription used by the Korean Government seems unusual to me now. In my mind I always see Seoul written as Soul or 서울 and I often think about the similarity of it with the English word soul.

없을 무
없다 means to not exist or to not be there, so when 없을 무 appears in a vocabulary word, you can guess that it has something to do with the absence of something.
무음 (no sound) silent / 무명 (no name) anonymous / 무관심 (no interest) uninterested
무료 (no charge) free / 무식 (no knowledge) ignorant / 무죄 (no sin/guilt) innocent
무리 (no reason) unreasonable / 무교 (no religion) atheist / 무성애자 (no sexuality person) asexual
*notes* 무죄 doesn’t mean innocent as in pure, like a child. It means you didn’t commit a crime or do something bad. And 무리 is often seen as the verb 무리하다. It means to do something past the point of being reasonable, like working too hard or exerting yourself. It is a super common phrase, so here are some examples!
무리하지 마…아프면 어떡해 ㅠ Don’t work too hard…What are you gonna do if you get sick?
무리하면 안돼요. Don’t overwork yourself. (Lit - It’s not okay if you overwork yourself.)
아아 운동하면서 무리한 것 같애. 온몸 아프다. Ah, I think I overdid it at the gym today. My whole body hurts.
Don’t forget that all instances of 무 don’t use this Hanja, but it is sure helpful when trying to understand new vocabulary.
