SO relieved to be back home!! All the surgeries went well (paired kidney donation; my mom and another guy donated and my dad and the other guy's brother received), and everybody's recovering great. God has been here every step of the way, protecting and sustaining us, and we have a fantastic support group praying for and aiding us. We still have a ways to go in this time of recovery, especially for my dad, and it'll be a challenge sticking to all the restrictions (namely, keeping him inside the house for several weeks due to his reduced immune system). However, he's already feeling much, much better and is as mentally prepared for this as he could be. Time for super rad Bible study, 'Flix binging, gaming, and reading the awesome books that you never seem to find time to read 😜👍🏼🤓

Recently acquired this shwanky coloring book and am really enjoying it. There's something oddly therapeutic in just putting on some good music and coloring! Anyway, this page took a while to finish, but I love how it turned out! And the second pic is of the book cover, should you want to check it out. The designs are strongly reminiscent of henna artwork👍🏼😁

My lifetime friend Hannah wrote out the lyrics to "Free" right after her grandparent passed away. I am so honored to have been chosen by her to put it to music. "Free" has been a most beloved song everywhere we have performed it, and we're tremendously excited it's finally available online for you all to hear! I hope God speaks to you through this simple yet powerful worship song!! Feel free to share, too ;)

This verse is very personal to me. It's actually the first one I ever memorized, thanks to my God-fearing parents. They taught me to hold on to God's promises of love and protection, even when I have a scary dream or am really anxious about something - whatever darkness tries to invade my heart/mind. Throughout my whole life this verse has come to life in more and more ways, and I'm sure it will continue! God's perfect Word is truly amazing and powerful

When we start focusing on ourselves and/or our own judgement, we keep prepping our own trap. We shouldn't "follow our hearts," as servants of God we must implore the King to lead us, especially when His ways aren't ours. This might sound like we're just giving up a lot, but in reality we're gaining so much more! We are designed to follow Him. He completes us. We can trust Christ.
