It most likely wasn’t a good idea, but it seems like another ingenious plan made up by his endlessly witty best friend. Zack was the only person he’d trust without a doubt, even if the things he said were completely whack or if the suggestions he gave were blatantly awful. That’s just what happens when you love someone as much as Ko loves him. You believe everything they say, trust them with your entire being. Or maybe that was only the case in a friendship was close-knitted as the two of them.
So he goes with it. He claps repeatedly, nodding his head slowly. “Bravo, Zack. Bravo. You’ve outdone yourself again. That’s a fuckin’ good idea, man…we doing it today? Right now?”
Admittedly, it wasn’t the best idea for either of them to go anywhere with the copious amounts of weed they’d burned up and inhaled moments prior. That was a normal occurrence, though, and so was doing things they shouldn’t be doing. Besides, Ash’s apartment was only across the way from his own. The building they lived in wasn’t the most luxurious, but for some reason, their loaded friend preferred to stay in a more humble place.
Isn’t that what drug dealers do, too? It sounded reasonable. He went with it.
“I’m, like, almost one hundred percent sure that he’s home today, too. He posted a picture with his cat like, two hours ago and captioned it saying ‘spending the day with my girlfriend’, so…” Ko continued, and before he even gave the other a chance to voice out a response, he’d already hopped up from his couch and tossed his game system’s controller down behind him.
“Let’s wear all black and pretend we’re spies again.”
Zack silently revels in the praise of his best friend, giving himself a bit of an applause of his own as he bows to his brilliance. “Well, what can I say? I’m just that good.”
When it was proposed that they should act immediately he was all down for the idea, expression all too eager for anyone to assume that the pair were up to any good. “Yes in fact I think the spy act is necessary for this, and I also think when we go over we should be wearing shades.” He nods his head, finger outstretched as if it adds a sense of wisdom and authority to his words, “We should also do like spy names to call ourselves when he’s not looking I call being agent S.P.Y Diddy. It spells spy but like instead of saying spy you just say each of the letters. I’m gonna go get my jacket from your room.”
Without wasting any time he’s jetting towards his destination, swinging open Ko’s room door while his eyes scan around iin search for the article of clothing he’d been meaning to take back home with him for the past month now. A lot of the time when Zack left things at Ko’s house he never brought them back home. They just simply stayed there until they became a shared item among the two, and if it weren’t for his need for it at this very moment in time, things might have just stayed that way. Quickly he snatches it from its position on the back of the chair placed in the corner and runs back to meet up with his friend in the other room, sliding the jacket on as he walks.
“Yo I really hope Ash has food at his place right now, I mean it’s Ash I doubt he won’t, but I’m fucking starving.”
